Dany - Oh my!!!! This one is gorgeous! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=6830305 What is this one?

You are getting so many lovely blooms from your different vines! It must take you all day watering and caring for them and then trying to get photos, too! Your MG fields are amazing!!!

szarvas, Hungary

Thanks, becky but only 30 % of my plants are blooming , others are growing, growing .
Here is a new pic coming from Japan - good colour !

Okay! THAT one took my breath away! AMAZING blooms! Seriously - you've gotten your hands on some wonderful culitvar of JMG and MG vines! Wow! You got the latest and greatest vines from Japan! That is so AWESOME, Dany!!!

I can't wait to see what you get in the way of blooms with the other 70%! How exciting it must be each day to wake up and check your vines for blooms! Morning Glory Heaven for sure!!!

You are the MG King of Hungary! :-)

LOL! You are probably right in being the King in Europe! I don't hear of many others growing nearly as many as you are right now! I'm gonna call you the MG Farmer! LOL!

I don't believe that photo is Maisugata: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/106236/ The blooms have a similar pattern, but different. But what do I know! Whatever it is ... it's sure making some beautiful blooms! :-)

Where is Colin these days? Haven't seen him post in a while...

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Dany, You take my breath away with such beautiful grow outs.. keep them coming!
I am learning from you..

Just think we could hand out royal titles here, king, queen and emperor, foot soldier depending on experience and rank etc. Maybe one day I will be in the line to be anointed with holy oil.

Thanks everybody.

Dany - That bloom is absolutely remarkable! Really! Just amazing! I'm really just totally crazy about it!! It's all about that yellow color, you know! Truly wonderful!

Did you get the seeds for it from Japan? That is the only place I have ever seen the yellow blooms on such a vine! You ROCK the MG world!! You ARE the KING to have gotten your hands on this cultivar!!! :-) :-) :-)

Confirmation with this cultivar : 2 colours on one vine - Blue and Purple.

How to make the hand pollonisation ?
I think each flower self cross !

Dany,
I just love this one http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=6830305. One can't help to love MG - even if it is only for the color range and combination these beauties come up with.

I can't wait for my growing season to start!

Elsa

That's exciting the yellow nil is making such a nice big flower, Dany, congrats!

Birmingham, United Kingdom

You are the King!

The yellow one is amazing, you will see plenty of hands waving in the air and some offers to kiss your feet

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Dany - I thank you very much for posting a photo of the leaves on your Yellow I. nil vine. Just stunningly beautiful!

The reason this one is so highly coveted is because it adds another color spectrum into the crossing mix. Yellow mixed with other cultivar colors expands the crossing possibility even larger. One of the main reasons I love I. nils so much is because the blooms are large (usually) and minute details can be seen in the blooms. When they are crossed, you can see the possibilities for future grow-outs. Sometimes the whole picture of a bloom doesn't unfold until future generations. I have a vine, a cross (from a friend), that showed just a slight unique gene on the first generation of that cross. But I suspect that it is hiding something more beautiful in future generations. So I am growing it out in the 2nd generation. Maybe that characteristic will be lost or maybe it will be accentuated. It's like playing the slot machines in Vegas. The possibility is there, it's whether or not you will hit the right combination of genes on a grow-out.

Which makes me so very fond of I. nil vines. Given any species I could grow of Morning Glories, I would pick I. nils hands down.

Dany - Thank you for sharing your blooms. Your crop of various Japanese and American morning glories is quite superior! You've done what I can only dream about! I salute you and your ambitious undertaking! Thanks for letting us share in it! I check your thread first thing every morning to see if you've posted any new bloom photos! Seeing your blooms and sharing in your adventure makes MY day! :-)

Your 2 colours on one vine - Blue and Purple photo ... You are sure there is only ONE vine growing in that pot? That is very unusual to have two solid colors like that coming from one vine. But perhaps not impossible. Very fascinating! Keep us posted on that one! :-)

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Dany, that yello is very pretty and delicate looking.. thanks for showing us ..

Gautier, MS

Dany, you really have some awesome blooms. Exciting to see each day.

The mystery is lifted, this cultivar is probably the number 1071 - 0012 from the University of Kyushu.

Dany - I am so fascinated by what the Japanese have created. I LOVE the number 1071 - 0012 from the University of Kyushu. Two different colors on one vine! Holy Cow! I guess the sky is the limit with MGs!

Karen's bloom IS most unusual. She does a lot of crossing and you just never know what you might get sometimes! Very pretty!

I love your I. indica blooms! I think I need to feed mine some Bloom Booster. My vine(s) have gone crazy, but not even a single bud yet!

And the last photo of the Wild Convolvulus is so Cool! What a great shot, Dany! That's a keeper photo for sure!!

Thank you for making my day once again with your beautiful blooms! :-)

This one is way cool, Dany http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=6837126

I also like the sectored JMG of blue and purple. Very unique, agreed with Becky.

Thanks,
But I need your help to find for this " sectored " a common name .
I find some name on different places on the Japanese web, but for this one , no name

Q 0188 = Black King
Q 1078 = Blue Cristal
Q 1210 = Benkei etc.....
The Q 0122 is a bi-colour , flowers are dark ping ou white - his name is Fukuoka ( from the Makoto Yutaka serie )
So perhaps Fukuoka Blue is a good choice !
I prefer " Lunatic " - other idea ?

I love it that you are sharing such wonderful creations.. They are all beautiful flowers and the photos of them are stunning!

I can tell you really enjoy your time out with them, and I would guess thqt you are reluctant to leave them..
I know I would..Your Wild Convolvulus and my Wild Convolvulus need to meet! I should send you some of my seed pods.. some of all three of them I have found so far anyways.. one is pink, one is white..

Dany - "Lunatic" - Oh! That is too funny! Perhaps "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde"? LOL!

Debra - Those bindweed are so pretty! I love the pink ones, especially. Too bad they have the possibility of being aggressive. Of course, they sure look a heck of a lot better than my regular "weeds". LOL!
