Sure, This photo is from last summer and obviously taken under different light conditions. We have been having epic rain and the flowers have been shattering early this year.

Sorry Texas, we have been getting all your rain and at this point I wish you would take some back. :-)
Good part is that we have saved in excess of $100 per month on irrigation costs. More money for plants right??????

Ardesia, beautiful lotus. The center of the opened lotus reminds me of my childhood. I don't know why it reminds me of buying lotus at the beach market because we have them in the city too. I used to love to pull out the seeds from the middle. I can't remember for sure, but I think we make necklaces out of the lotus seeds.

Wish I could send some rain your way in Texas. We just had a downpour this morning. It really helped the plants as we haven't had good rain in a while.
