Ha ha - is she on high ground?!!
Today's weather in your garden - 50
Well, I mean does she live on a hill of sorts!!! Geez!!!!
::::grumble::::: at Victor... YES I am on high ground Pixie
Good^_^
If Allison kicks a rock, look out!
:::bowing head::::
I've been waiting for rain allll day long, but it passed us by. WE actually had a very nice day. My niece came to visit my mom and she ran out of rain about 10 miles north of us.
sure sure... rub it in Jan
;)
Tons of rain here.
No rain yet here. Lifted one iris more to go, weeding too. Hope the lifting will help get rid of some of this dreaded grass!
94°
Wow.
yes - I know what you mean - I'm stunned. Tomatoes/Peppers are growing so temperature is a good thing. Tomorrow I will listen to people complain about the heat. And I will smile in anticipation of a great tomato harvest down the road.
LOL Allison. I was actually looking forward to the rain, cuz I have been watering.
oh joy
Heavy rain occurring on Jul 22 | Jul 23 | Jul 24 | Jul 25 | Jul 26. Total amount 0.81 Inches.
63 now going up to 84... looks like possible thunderstorm this evening
62 right now.. rain has subsided... clearing this afternoon with a high of 78... or so they say! lol!
You just keep smiling, Katye, and enjoy your bounty.
Geez, Allison, I hope my cousin doesn't lose the replacement planting of field corn. That would be devastating!
overcast now and should be clearing up
Drippy and rainy.
So glad I have Yahoo weather. The Google page says its 32*
NOT
Its 64
Most. Depressing. Summer. EVER
I haven't watered since the middle of May.
73, mostly sunny and a bit humid. I agree, nor.
What really sucks is that I invested in an expensive, heavy duty metal hose reel this year and haven't had a chance to use it. I'm really angry that this is pretty much peak daylily time in my garden and the weather is ruining it. I had to restrain myself from turning on the heat today...in late JULY!
I have a new hose reel too - the one that rewinds using water pressure. Still in the box.
it is humid out - just in from putting the first finish coat on the garage - 2 1/2 hours - i do not like painting
70's and light rain. We needed the rain. Glad DH painted the arbor yesterday.
well Victor just think how much longer the hose reel will last now
Yesterday's rain eroded the part of the garden I had replanted---I'm just disgusted---today was nice, but spent it running around---too wet to get into veggie garden except to pick beans---many, many beans....
Improved so could work in the afternoon.
85°.
And at 7:20 pm it is a balmy 80°. More tomato weather on the way.
I'm sorry - it's just that this is the first REAL summer we've had in years.
I'm sure our penance will be in the form of ice this winter...
Rained harder this afternoon. We needed it.
It was a great day altho humid.
It started raining at 4AM and will continue all day. We need it.
68 now going up to 78... supposed to be nasty thunderstorms today
robin sounds like you need a rock wall to help with that erosion.
overcast right now - going to RAIN tonight - i think they are saying a couple inches worth and if the storm turns 4 or 5 inches!! I am going to move my little beni komanchi jm inside tonight, it has lost a good deal of leaves due to the rain and just came out with new growth. There is also one in the yard that was advertised to need special care, abigail rose jm, might set up and umbrella for this one, it also is showing signs of distress even though it is on a slope and raised.
Hey all! back from Denver and HATING this humidity.
Bill, I have a stone wall---the 'river' of water just went through it, carrying the soil onto my lawn. We are supposed to have heavy rain tonight & all day tomorrow----can't get into the gardens now without sinking in. Worst gardening year for me in a long time.
Welcome home, Jen---yeah, it's humid!
wow that must be some slope to get the water going through the wall - i had that problem off to the side of my driveway and i put in flat stone straight down, three rows of them to divert the water away - through a stone wall (come to think of it) and into the woods
73 degrees and overcast. Supposed to get up into the 90's.
Deck containers looking good. Everything else is just hanging on with the heat, no rain and the dogs pissing indiscrimanantly.
Welcome back, Jen. How is mom?
77 and grossly humid.
