Well I think that there were to many so it is time to change.
Today's weather in your garden - 50
Yes - Skip to New is the way to go pensa.
Well that little test cost me $250. Result? I have to replace the entire return line from the filter to the far end of the pool. Ugh. Involves digging up more concrete as well.
Have I said how much I hate the pool??
Gorgeous day
Oh darn that is not so good.
That really stinks. Was the pool there when you bought the house or did you have it installed?
That sounds awful.
It was here. It was built 40 years ago so it's no surprise. Just such a hassle. The return line goes through a large flower bed too.
I do miss my pool, but not the repairs---or the cleaning. Never got to paint the porch---local store out of base, went to Lowe's in the city, bought paint, bought hydrangea, went out to lunch, walked dogs. Came home, took everything off porch, scraped, swept, swept, scraped, hosed---received call from neighbor to come over & see 2 baby kittens brought home by granddaughter---time is now 6, & DH wants food---help!
Oops I posted in the wrong thread... 58 now going up to 79
Another beauty! 64 and sunny. Great day ahead.
Furnace kicked on last night. 54 and raining. Gardens are loving this cool weather though.
We've been into the 50's quite a bit lately. Heating system is OFF!
I thought mine was off. It's turned down as low as it goes...of course I have every window in the house open.
70 high of 84 low was 57
70 and sunny. DH has painted the porch rail he put together, and is now painting the jump rails for DD. Beautiful weather for it.
I'm loving this May weather!!!
Great day for porch painting & weeding---going to put second coat on tomorrow, & weed again----the weather is changing on Thursday!
I have a feeling it's going to be hot in September.
yeah maybe it will be nice for Halloween this year!!!
I am so with you on loving this weather Victor... I would have loved a summer like this when I was barrel racing... and so would the horses
The Oregon kids left yesterday. I went to bed at 8:30. We had a wonderful 9 days with them. I'm so glad it was not humid. Never ran the AC once. However, it looks like it will go on tomorrow morning to keep it dry in the house.
How about when jumping, Allison? 80 and no humidity. Nice riding weather. I must weed too, keep running out of hours in the day!
Nice day again. Next few days look unsettled. Hoping for a good day Saturday.
Nice and cool for sleeping again. 68.
we are hoping for a good saturday as well... not looking good though
:(
68 now going up to 85... thunderstorms and rain today... said the humidity is going to jump up today
Higher humidity here too. The AC is going on soon. It will only kick on when it gets to 80 in the house, but it will be drier. If we close up the house, it stays relatively cool for quite awhile. Until the later afternoon when the westerly sun beats in the windows.
Humid. Sun coming out again after a storm. Got caught driving in it.
72 and sticky.
Watery sunlight after showers---very humid---may have to turn the fans on!
hot/humid and wife asked me to wash the windows!! went and bought another jm instead - harriet waldman a nice variegated one :)
I like your response, Bill!
can't tell her - she'd kill me :)
Better clean at least one.
plan too - first the inside of the garage doors to get rid of the mildew that is starting to show up.
i'll do a room or two a day - knew this was coming - hate it almost as much as vacuuming
I don't mind windows - but not at this time. Only spring and fall.
Terribly humid. We'll be getting more showers for sure.
Can't believe I just did this. I just got back from picking up the little guy from camp. He was filthy! I think it's the teenage counselors' way of getting back at adults. Anyway, I was making my PM cup of coffee and was distracted by him, telling him to clean up. I did not realize I put the coffee in the water part! Ugh. What a mess.
we need to wait till after the white pines drop the pollen here.
garage doors are done took one whole roll of paper towels and two full re-fills of clorox bleach cleaner - man they were a mess!
and now having my afternoon cold beverage - joe only for me in the AM. - need to climb on the elliptical now and take advantage of the humidity - yes brew first then exercise - will need another to cool off afterwards :)
Pre-workout brew?! That's a no-no for me.
Back from the ortho guy today. Next for my knee is to try Synvisc (artificial joint fluid) injections. The cartilage on the outside of my knee is almost gone. This is what causes the pain. The fluid is supposed to help provide the cushion that is missing. I'm starting to get it in my left knee now. Tough getting old.
never heard of no-no, brews it?
that is the stuff they gave mike lowell i believe. it worked for him or so he says - sometimes the oil lube does not take - good luck!
gotta call my ortho guy tomorrow to see if he looked at the MRI on a better monitor - we've been playing softball every other day now for a couple weeks - my knee is killing with the stopping and starting, figures i've had a hot streak at the plate making me run even more.
Tell me about! Saturday is my stickball game - weather permitting. I call the knee my stickball knee, from the thousands of times I ran full-speed only to have to stop dead and turn around at second base to run uphill to third base.
