leaf tips browning

I have a corn plant,the kind with the dark green leaves .It is about 20yrs. old,but the tips of the older leaves are browning,otherwise it looks ok. What's wrong?

It could be one of any number of possibilities, or even a combination of things. Asking a question w/o specific information is like saying, "My car won't start ....." or "I don't feel well .....", what's wrong?
