Whats wrong with green bean plant

Leaves getting spots then dying. Is it the same as the tomato plant problem?
Between the grubs japanese beetles eating my flowers and now my garden looking bad I am at my wits end. Hope someone can help me.

You've got whiteflies on those beans, too, it looks like. The spots could be Angular Leaf Spot, I'm not sure.

That's what Barbara Barker thought about my tomato leaves.
So what do I use to get rid of whiteflies? Tried to get a pic of the little critter I found but was just to small to show up. Looked like a knat is all I can say. Do they bite? When I picked my beans something bit me terrible ,could've been nasty skeeters they like me.
I want to thank everyone for their help, keep it coming sooner or later I will win this battle.
I will just keep trying the suggestions until I do. I have to. I have two elderly couples that are counting on me to supply them with green beans and tomatoes (no charge of course) I help them with things they can't do. Was taught if you can't help someone just to help you better step back and think what if it was you or a member of your family and no one would help. And fortunately for me you all must think the same way. What a wonderful site this is.

I think the white stuff shown on the leaf is mostly the sevin dust I had put on the beans

Could be that. It was hard to make out.

If you don't mind using chemicals, try some malathion or malathion plus. I use a poison called Pounce but you can't buy it in small quantities. I like it because in 24 hours it is gone.

Going to town tonight will look for something. Got to be careful though because my dog follows me everywhere. I also got a soil test kit and checking soil before I go.
I'm sure most the white in the pic is sevin dust but I did find some small bugs could have been white flies.

Is the Sevin for the Japanese beetles?

It is for alot of different leaf eating and sucking insects. It lists about 60 or so on the bag, including Japanese beetles. Problem is it washes off and the wind blows it so I don't like to use it but was getting desperate and it is suppose to be safe for animals have heard of people using it on dogs for fleas but poison is poison I keep my dog away I am looking for something safer if I can find it, but it works good while its on the plant

Rotenone is safer, but it depends on what your problem is.

If it's a fungus or virus, an insecticide won't help. Something like Daconil might.

I just tested the soil and its very low on nitrogen,phosphorus and potash so off to buy fertilizer and will look for the Rotenone and a fungicide. Won't hurt to have it on hand. My husband got some dirt from a guy digging a basement to level out back lot and it must have been clay he put in my garden spot too I think. Didn't have all this trouble last year.

I never had much success with Sevin Dust. The liquid Sevin always worked pretty good. The Malathion won't hurt anything warm blooded. Wet a frog down with it and he will probably turn legs up. For troublesome pests I used to mix Sevin and Malathion together.

like having a lot of options the town here is kinda small not many places to buy other than big chain stores, they don't carry much variety, might have to look online if I don't find some. As long as it won't hurt the dog. As for the frog if the spray don't get him the dog will.
