CLOSED: Free Seed For Newbies! 7/10/o9 - Directions To Get Your Seed

Wow, what a coincidence. But you might have to soak the seeds and you probably wouldn't want to do that would you? And this one. It's a opium poppy and I know you wouldn't want it. I just sent it to Loca.

Gosh, I'm going to have to get off here, people keep disappearing from here after I send mail. Found this green bat flower seed too, but it's not black, so I don't think it would go in a goth garden. Oh, well. Did I also mention I have it in white seed also and a black one in plant form?

*tackles mekos* you cant get up till you send me some.. nope nope.....ROTFL

I can't write anymore, I got tackled! Sorry! Blame Cue!

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

lol.... you can get up as soon as ya hand over the bat flower, poppy and that other black flower seed... yup yup

I'll think about it. Probably have to talk to Loca and see if she thinks it would be a good idea.Make sure those babies get a good home. There may be more looking for a good goth garden, I'll have to look and see, when I can get up of course.

Hee hee hee . . .

I'll have to take a looksie and see what's in that package mekos sent me, cue. Maybe some goth garden material in there????

Hey mekos - do ALL Hibiscus benefit from the soaking treatment cuz I got some seeds on the way . . .

Hey, I don't know, I just read that stuff somewhere today. Don't even know where, but I think it was on the home page and on the side bar OR could have googled the poppy seed and may have read it there. I know nothing about the computer nor my way around.( See, I couldn't even get a picture on there.) I just remember it said soak in hot water 24 hours and would sprout ,I think, 7-10 days. You guys google it and see. I don't have DSL and my computer is slow as Christmas. But did run across this little baby all alone, ?!? It's called Black Moon.( I may or may not have it in seed form too.)

HI Everyone I see Mekos is doing a fine job teasing Cue right now. Oh that reminds me I got some black columbine seeds in the mail what the heck am I supposed to do with those things????
Robin hope you enjoyed your vacation.

Margaret

I know, I could put them with my goth flowers and plant ME a goth garden.

Monticello, KY(Zone 6b)

There you go Mekos. With that many black flowers already on hand you would be off to a good start.
Just got word I'm a new great aunt again as of 4 17 pm today

Congratulations, Margaret!!!!! WOW. That is awsome! Get her name yet?
Edited to ask: Did you finish the booties? And, Arejay is still cooking those strawberry pies for the postmen.(she switched from pumpkin to strawberry to fool us.)

Where did it go to?

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

your house lol

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Those gourds are way cool, mekos! You growing those too, lol? I'll have to google the Hibiscus thing or ask the guy I'm getting the seeds from. I'll let you know.

Don't think I could have a Goth Garden here. I think the sun would fry it like a vampire - ROTFL! Maybe I can find a creepy shady corner for one?

Congratulations on the new addition to your family^_^

Somehow I can't picture mekos as the Goth type, cue . . .

She's too nice.

OH, poor Cue. No not my house. My seeds are lonely.

Thanks my sweet little friend. BIG SMILE!!!!!

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

most plants going in the goth garden require full sun, Im sure they would be ok.

started pulling up dying veggie plants from mine. there is an existing night blooming jasmine shrub there, dunno if i should leave it or move it.. thinking maybe it will stay.. and be part of the backdrop. should be getting things planted and settled in there over the next few weeks.. woot!

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Those dark seeds will scare the daylights out of your pretty seeds, mekos . . .

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

ohh, so.. you're saying Im not nice and therefore am the 'goth' type? heyyyyyyy...ROTFL.. Its hard work being this dark and mysterious!

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

lol.. I live for 'strange and scary'.. yup yup

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

You're nice, in a dark sort of way - ROTFL!

I still like you though!!

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

well then, I'll take that as a compliment....lol

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Anyone who brings THREE, count 'em, THREE little kittens home from the get together can't be all that bad . . .

Are all the kittens black? Maybe THAT explains your kindness - LOL!!

I think that night blooming jasmine should come visit me and my plants, those dark flowers will frighten it to death. I believe it would love to climb my canopy lattice. It would be afraid in the dark there and probably would never bloom again.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Yup - it was a compliment!

Whatever happened to the scramble, Robin? Everyone's minds are getting out of practice . . .

I got a kitty too. He is about 3 months old and long hair and mostly white with blue eyes. His name is Smurf.

Loca - two were black, the third was gray with an orange patch over her eye.. so adorable, I just had to bring her along... All of them have been named. Black girl kitty is Sookie (True Blood reference) Black boy kitty is Sirius (Sirius Black from Harry Potter series) and gray with orange patch is Sasha (vampire character from one of my writings) and then there is my 2 year old baby Severus (after Severus Snape - dreaded potions master from Harry Potter series).

mekos... this isnt a vine, its a shrub.. and it would be most difficult to ship since its about 4 ft high and 4ft wide...LOL, however, I can root a cutting or two for you if ya like.. its easy to do.. and then you can some too!

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

here are two of my new babies:

in the basket are Sasha and Sirius

Nah, just trying to save it from all that fear coming it's way. I have a couple different kinds of jasmine. I got 3 sprouted of one and seeds for orange jasmine.

Those are so cute!
