Oh he is quite handsome...so is your warbler too! I come across a doe walking the dog yesterday evening...but I live out where they live!! Got a few bad pics to since it was evening.

Linth that deer picture is awesome! We see them dashing across the country road every so often, just hope that it won't dash into our headlight while driving. Love those Towhees.

Linth, can you tell me how you found the shutter speeds on the photos? When I check the properties, they're not there and I noticed you'd checked on Burds. Good looking buck! Our Black-tailed deer are smaller than your White-tailed.

I took this picture of a pair of our newest twins the other day. Still trying to get close to another one that's smaller.

Wonderful to see the cygnets today at the local lake.

Thanks, Resin. I never could keep the "hawks" straight. All I know is that he was ready to "score" at my bird feeder.

I should have known better but I don't think I've ever seen a Red-shouldered Hawk in my backyard. One should never assume !

Just got back from Colorado and checked on the baby Robins. Looks like they had better start flying or get a bigger home. Got some new birds on the trip. Will start a thread when I get the pics sorted.

Well here's Baby Mallard #2.

It's a long story, but for a while yesterday I had two mallard babies. However, the first one died early last evening. That is the one that was nearly drowned. This one however was just left behind and seems more healthy. With lots of instruction from Duckmother and some good advice from MargaretK, I've spent a day as foster Mom. I have perfected my Mom quack and have definitely fallen in love.

Mrs_Ed Sorry about the other duckling, this one will go all the way! When I was in my teens I raised ducks,geese,ringed neck pheasants, and a few fowl, even raised pair of crow's (someone had too). Goodluck!
