DAILY PICS #230
Nice ones Linth!
a doe walking the dog yesterday evening
That must've been a strange sight to see!
Resin
Ha! I was wondering what the buck would have said to the young doe....lol.
Linth that deer picture is awesome! We see them dashing across the country road every so often, just hope that it won't dash into our headlight while driving. Love those Towhees.
Reddirt, that Egret photo has the most beautiful colors!!
Nanny, great shot of the H.Finch too!
Linth, can you tell me how you found the shutter speeds on the photos? When I check the properties, they're not there and I noticed you'd checked on Burds. Good looking buck! Our Black-tailed deer are smaller than your White-tailed.
I took this picture of a pair of our newest twins the other day. Still trying to get close to another one that's smaller.
Oh dear! the deer do a great job on eating plants. Too many here--prefer the birds.
Oh Duc what little darlings! Great shot!
duc, nice shot of the twin fawns !!! As to your question on my finding the shutter speed, this topic was just discussed at the following thread. After reviewing the member comments, if you still have a question, please let me know.

Thanks Linth, I think I got it.
Knip, your baby geese are adorable!
I agree, Reddirtretiree....the colors on that photo are awesome!
Meet Mr. "Cooper"
Red-shouldered Hawk ;-)
Resin
Thanks, Resin. I never could keep the "hawks" straight. All I know is that he was ready to "score" at my bird feeder.
I should have known better but I don't think I've ever seen a Red-shouldered Hawk in my backyard. One should never assume !

Boy Adel, they are sure shoved in there!
Well here's Baby Mallard #2.
It's a long story, but for a while yesterday I had two mallard babies. However, the first one died early last evening. That is the one that was nearly drowned. This one however was just left behind and seems more healthy. With lots of instruction from Duckmother and some good advice from MargaretK, I've spent a day as foster Mom. I have perfected my Mom quack and have definitely fallen in love.
Mrs_Ed, sorry you've lost one of the two. This one is adorable, congrats on mastering the quack.
Nice Photo's Everyone! Linth thanks! The info you have given me has kept me working with the ISO. The Aperture Ive left on auto but I set it to it's lowest like you said. Burst mode is next on the list. Cavs fan here!
Mrs_Ed Sorry about the other duckling, this one will go all the way! When I was in my teens I raised ducks, geese, ringed neck pheasants, and a few fowl, even raised pair of crow's (someone had too). Goodluck!
Got a couple pics today.
Oriole Juvy
Very nice pics guys!
Aww so cute Marna!!
Thanks all. you have NO idea how cute this guy is. He (generic term here) crawls up on my shoulder and gets under my hair. Definitely CUTE OVERLOAD.
Linth, that's a great hawk photo. Hope it didn't get any of your birds though.
Adel, I hope those babies will soon fledge. It's a wonder they don't get stuck in that nest.
Mrs. Ed, sorry to hear you lost one of the babies. Looks like you're doing a great job with the other cute one. Keep on quacking!
Nanny, your wps are just awesome and love that Oriole too!
Burd, great job on all your birds.
Reddirt, great shots!!
My Scrub Jays are sure keeping me entertained.
