It's weird, I almost did forget what that kind of sky looked like.

I think so, Celeste.

Beautiful, Sherrie!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I love it Sherrie!!

Its not done. He is debating to put the water pump in or a big antique cast iron bell in it. It has 8 sides and is almost 8 feet tall. He is putting in a door on the bottom so it can store stuff for the winter. I know one thing - its heavy!

I will take a pic with the bell and the pump and have you people decide what should go in it. I can only tell you till the bell gets in that I paid to much for it at an auction. Its old and has SENECA FALLS NY casted into it.

Would look great in my garden.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i vote pump

the bell i would have him build something else so it could be rung - just something without a roof - with a rope to pull

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

Cloudy off and on all day. I'm with wha, pump.

The bell ( 270 bucks) worth would have to be under a roof. Its cast iron and would rust. Plus its history. Oh yes and a rope - I would have it clanging so loud the nasty neighbor would love me :-)

Here it is with the bell.

The bell is not small and weighs about 70lbs. It says: PUMP AND FIRE MFG CO SENNECA FALLS NY Close up of bell. You can see it has a pull handle. It is one loud bell for its size :-) Dinners ready

Very nice. I love old bells.

I tried to do research on the bell thinking it came out of the finger lake region of NY. The auction was almost in Canada/New York. It was out in the boonies. I couldnt find nothing. It had something to do with a fire station I guess?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Beautiful bell Sherrie!! I too love old bells the history they carry....if they could only talk!!

Thomaston, CT

I vote for the bell---it has rained & thundered here since 2:30 this afternoon---I think it has finally stopped! It was an adventure getting the mail---had to jump over a river to get to the box---enough already!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Had more rain before! It never ends. 68 now. And dark.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

love the well Sherrie

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Thunderstorms and 2" of rain dropped on us last night, overcast with more thunder storms on the way.

Thomaston, CT

Sunny this morning---then cloudburst---WHERE is all this rain coming from---brook overflowed across the road today----didn't realize how deep & swift it was----good thing I had the truck---almost pulled the wheel out of my hand.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Breezy, cool and cloudy. Then the sun came out and it started raining, got a little steamy but I don't have the a/c on(totally wierd for me)

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

68 and breezy. Should be nice for the fireworks to night.

Williamstown, NJ(Zone 6b)

I like the Bell Sherrie. It looks nice there.
Sunny with a few clouds, but over all a nice day. Not too hot, nice breeze. I dont have my AC on yet either Flowerjen and believe me I am not complaining.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cooling off nicely. Nice weekend ahead - supposedly.

Trying to get some lightning shots last night - the trees blocked what looks like a nice one.
