Hi, I have a purple Baptista, bloomed this year, three after planting, big wisteria like flowers. Am I supposed to trim? cut back? It is now about 4' high. Thanks, purpleterry

wait for the pods and then collect when dry and crispy. other than that you can leave or clean up when the cold comes. Only thing with baptisia ...... you can't move. No tolerance for a move - long tap root. I fight the deer - I think these plants are in the pea family and so the deer beat me to the fruit.
