Should I take buds off newly transplanted butterfly bush?

One gallon size, late transplant (stuff happens), looking slightly droopy in the heat, keeping the little guy watered. It has buds on every branch-should I take them off so it concentrates on more immediate matters? Or maybe most (keep a couple for instant gratification, if it won't hurt)?

It is a very hardy plant.You can do what you want.It can handle it.Edge
