yum!!!
Texas -- I have the mojito as well (do you also shop Plant Delights? LOL). I picked out a unique one as well as a speckled one like your's. My unique one has half the leaves dark purple and the other half the bright green. About every other leaf it shoots out is like that, with the others being speckled. When I asked the PDN staff about it during the open house weekend, they said, "Oh, that one is not right. We shouldn't be selling it." But I liked it for it's unique pattern ... and the urge it gives me to mix up my favorite summertime cocktail! :)

Great photos everyone.
I am thrilled to report I have good tasting mangos, I started from a seed about 10-11 years ago. I've picked few mangos couple of years ago, I thought it taste kinda funny but this year it's good. I have no idea what variety but it's green mango, I think fertilizing helped with the larger size and the taste. I am going to fertilize better next year now that I know it taste good. I think maybe 15 mangos on it.
Maybe next year I'll have 30, 40,50 mangos??????????????
DOING THE MANGO DANCE!!!!
you know the way the weather has been here I may try growing mangos now.

Why not? there are some smaller tree variety you can try. It takes too long from a seed but you can get the grafted one. I've seen a 4' tree with some mangos.
really? Well..I have some mango seeds from africa I want to see if I can sprout...doubtful because of age..but ..I do have a Tamirind Tree that was just as old!
