ideas on preparing bigger seeds

Does anyone know more about the coffee filter and baggie method for bigger seeds like morning glorys? I read about it and need details. Like how wet? For how long? Do I close the baggie completely. Do I put it outside where its hot? Does anyone do this? Thanks a bunch , Raylin
