spiral sanservia?

Urbana, IL

I've got a couple plants that look like variegated Sanseviera in their leaves. But instead of coming up relatively straight, and from multiple points, all leaves come from the center of the plant. They kind of 'spiral' out from the center, and as the leaves get longer they twist too. The ones I have seem to have very small root systems and they are extremely slow growers.

Anyone know what variety this is?

Can you post a picture?

Here's one specimen. All growth comes from the center.

Here's another specimen. It's the variegated one, not the non-variegated one (there are two plants in the pot). Again, all growth comes from the center. The next shot will show how drastically the longer leaves twist.

And here you can see a longer leaf of that same plant.

Ok, thanks for that. I had never seen one where all growth only came from the very center and there are no pups. Plus they usually grow upwards but these seem to grow outward. I thought it might be a different variety.
