Our family did the fathers day yesterday. Dad got a big sack of home grown Oions, potattoes, squash, zooks , green tomattoes, and two kinds of ripe toms too. He is 82 and claims his blood sugar level drops about 50 points when he eats moms zook and tom sauce dish. He asked if I could put in a second crop and when? I told him I think ,Hey even if I have to use tarps for cold I would try for three a year. Ya gotta keep dad healthy and happy. I made my hubby some strawberry jam for father's day yesterday. I can't eat jam 'cause it raises my blood sugar level! It sure smelled good (okay, I did taste a tiny, tiny sample)
My good friend came and raided my garden for her son in law and invited me and Billy for a cook out... It was good eats, and his favorite, squash....
