24 . . . looks like there may be several hiding a bit back in z'bush at the lower edge, too. A cute photo.

Darling little birds. I fed them here for several months earlier this year. But I must say that the rose tree in which it was hanging ended up with bunches of seed on top, I mean INCHES of it. I suppose I should have regularly removed the seed, but just didnt' know. So, I took the sock down until I could learn what I needed to do to keep both the rose and the birdies safe.

Hmmm, Adel a face only his mother could love! lol. It was a treat when the gold finches came by our areas. They're so beautiful and bright. 24. I'm still looking out for some catbird's pix. I'm sure I've heard them in the garden.

This Pied-billed Grebe was guarding the eggs on the nest. I was surprised the eggs were out in the open with so many Osprey flying around. I guess there wasn't any danger.
