Patti...Love the Roses and the 'before the storm'. I'll keep you posted on whatever happens with the spirea. I brought a few things home today to attempt to do the layering with, but who knows if I'll get to it anytime soon with all the projects going on the yard right now. someday! lol But, even getting things home to do it with is huge progress for me.

Jo Ann... Oh' so Lovely! Your garden is beginning to look as though you've been working on it much longer than you have!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks Shelly
I am really loving those NOID'giant hosta.
I believe theyre Blessingham Blue altho they arent as blue as Blue Angel. They are about to bloom.
The Violas are budding also.May have a pix next week along with Japanese Iris and Siberians planted this spring.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

joann did i see an earing hanging off a tree:)

looks great and jealous of the sun you have!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Sure thing Jo Ann. I'm glad that you're liking them. Although they shouldn't be the same hosta. I'll try to remember to take pictures of the plants that they came from when I get home. One of them, I know exactly which plant it came from. The other is which I can't remember if I took a fan off of or one of the seedlings from. If it was a fan, then it'll be identical. But, a seedling may not be identical to it's parent. So it should be interesting! The violas I have no doubt, will do fantastic.

The id isnt THAT important.
Bill arent your trees festuned with baubles?

Great pics, everyone!!!

Tex, the question is - did you stop at Delicious Orchards and get a pecan pie? If not and you like pecan pie, then make it a point to get one there. YUMMMMMYYYYY!!!!! Oh, BTW, love the fountain, too.

I am so happy with the gardens this second year! I just sit on the deck and watch everything grow.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You can practically hear things growing this year with the rain!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Ohhh yeah and the slugs are growing too.
Many yellow and pale green plants are chewed.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh yeah. This is bug and slime heaven.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Nice shot of your kitty, Meredith! She/he looks like he/she is having fun in your gardens.

Great find, Tex! I'm jealous!

Nice pics, Jo Anne and Patti! Jo Anne, I can't believe you have sun. No clearing of the clouds or rain in sight here.

Nice foxglove, Celeste. Is it Pam's Choice?

We suffered three days of gloom and a record 1 day rainfall Sat. of 1.22 inches. It just poured down all day and half the night.
We all deserve sun.
Dont make me haul out the winter blizzerd pix to make you feel glad its not January.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

it is indeed Pam's Choice!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Oh, we certainly don't want January weather, though I do hope we get better weather in July.

I thought so, Celeste. I love that one. I grew some from seed this year.

Pixie, that is "Choice" no matter its name. How about this little digitalis gem. Garden crossing this year called 'Goldcrest' or 'Waldigone'. Patti

Very nice, Patti.

Here is a JM seedling I've been nursing for a few years. It's in full sun and the color is fantastic.

Can someone ID this? I thought it was a lavatera seedling (I have many of them and I like lavatera), but the newer, curly foliage does not look familiar.

Gaillardia Lemons and Oranges among the lavender. Looks like only one of three plants returned. I don't have good luck with it and it's in an ideal location.
