Funny thing, they prefer the smaller tabletop fountain to the larger one.

I have no idea what this crow is doing, but he's just sitting on the gound. Possibly just enjoying the warm sun? He was in the neighbor's yard and by the time I walked down there to check on him, he had left.

Thanks Duc for the new thread, great start! Your crow seems as if he was having a conversation with the bugs hidden on the plants. lol. Here is one on my back yard after a heavy rain yesterday.

Ohhh, I wish I had some of those orioles. Here is a juvenile northern cardinal at the feeder with daddy and a little chickadee. I have learned that the juvenile cardinals have the dark colored bill.
Sorry about the feeder pole, it's right in the way of my picture taking...

Lily, the crows are on my favorites list, how about sending some of that needed rain this way please?

Julie, your baby is adorable and I love the little chick just hanging on. Cute photo!

Excellent start duc! Love your Orioles!

Cute juvy Cardinal Julie!

Duc, Can you explain the squirting bird bath? Looks pretty neat!

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Pelle, I got this at a yard sale for $5 and it's the favorite of so many birds here from the hummers to even the Crows.

That was great luck duc!

Today we had some sun so I was out in the yard trying to get some shots. There are lots of juvenile Blue Jays around with their parents. They are so cute!

Here are a few pics of one.

Today is the first day I've seen the juvenile Red-bellied Woodpeckers in the yard. Here is Dad with his youngster, I stayed 70 feet away as not to disturb them but you can see Dad heard my camera.

Duc I want one of those squirters. I may have to create one. Thats real cool. Pelletory, all the birds are bring their youngens to the feeders but only my wife and daughter have seen the male Red-bellied and the juvenile. I've seen the downy wp, house finces, doves, sparrows but not the RB wp yet.

Pelle, the babies just couldn't be any cuter!! The Jays are such a beautiful bird anyway, but that fluff and the baby mouth just make them more adorable. That dad is doing a good job of guarding too! What a pretty photo they make together. Great captures!!

This is my second nest of baby Say's Phoebes this year. With 4 babies this time, the mom and dad are keeping busy rounding up bugs to feed them.

Does anybody remember the Afro hairdo from the late 1970's? That's what these guys remind me of.

So much baby action!

Very quiet here lately. I do have some nice visits from "the regulars".

When the robin first chased the bluebirds away I was upset but then I tracked where the robin was goining after it visited the feeder and spotted the nest. So I guess I can afford the worms to feed more baby birds.

Beautiful photos all!! I love that squirting bird bath!! Ms.Ed, I'd like to see a shot of that pond...is it a shallow one just for birds?
I've got a honeysuckle vine growing up the tv antennae just outside my computer window. This little hummingbird (baby maybe?) is always coming and going. He perches a lot! This isn't the best photo but if I sit outside he doesn't come around...
