Hello everyone,
I am new to iris gardening and have a question. I have a group of bearded iris that is on it's third summer. I bought them at a nursery and planted them and left them. The next year, after they bloomed I did nothing. This year, after they bloomed and the flowers died, I cut off the stalk. Should I be doing something with the leaves? I'll try to post a picture of the bloomin' iris for reference.
Thank you for your help.
after the bearded iris blooms -stupid question
Just leave the leaves alone, they'll stay green all year.
thanks. that's what I though, but needed verification.
I'lll offer verification that I think you picture is beautiful!!!!! LOL
by would i love to mix that bad boy with my white ones.... :)
The stick says it is 'Batik', and no two are alike. If I was braver, I would divide and share. :) maybe next year...
