Coffee Break #13 Come on in the A/C is own.

Thomaston, CT

Never brought out the patio umbrella! I need to be in the sun, not out of it! Maybe by Fourth of July! Wow, Candyce, you had a memorable trip to the Cape....I need to get away somewhere, & soon.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Candyce your vacation sounds wonderful. I'm afraid of Buttbook (thanks Victor) and Tweetering. Too many unknowns :O I hope the scary weather yesterday missed everyone. I still can't believe the Devil Child has his own pool and I don't :(

I joined facebook back in Feb. I just stole Candyce crop on Fantasy Farm :-) If you want to join something like that - dont use your real name.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

fantasy farm? is that where you have a "real" fantasy farm and chat with folks around the world? My sister is doing that and they can't get her off the computer. can't wait till we go camping this summer and start in on her about it - "sorry no can do gotta to milk the cows" i'm saving up a million of them! "nope gonna have to wait need to slop the pigs" it's gonna be fun.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Dahlia that is his new pool. He dug a hole in his old pool.
I went out side to check on the small pots. And it is like a oven out there.

Great pic Wren.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I love to take pictures of the brat when he is jumping for his ball. Love the 3 pictures in a row setting.
If you look carefully you will see the ball.

This one you can not see the ball but I call it the great white shark attack. LOL

oooo he looks verrrry ferocious.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Well I now know Wall-e can jump a 3 1/2' fence with no problem, he's been jumping the chicken wire to get into my new blue and yellow garden...that stinker!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Scoundrel!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Andre could clear 4 feet from a standing start The brat.
Can you see where the ball is? He is not know for being very good at catching the ball. LOL

Of course not dear Wren. It's all about the jumping and dancing ^_^ WHOO HOO we're having thunderboomers. I luv thunderboomers.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Andre looks like he should take off his fur coat in that heat. He's cute! I like him.

I wonder what's so interesting to Wall-e in your blue and yellow garden, Jen. Why do you keep it fenced off?

I have a facebook account, and like it. I keep all my settings private for just friends and I keep my friends limited to just a few that I know well and don't mind that they see what I've posted. No one else can see it. It doesn't show up on a Google search.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

He stays in side when it is hot!!!! And loves to be out when it is cold.

He's so cute! Tell me you love him. Please!

My dog also can clear 4 feet from a standing jump - and she is so fast! We have a little tray table I had in front of the couch one day, and she was on the other side of the tray table. She jumped completely over the table onto the couch next to me like it was nothing.

a while back i posted a pic of a heron in the pond down back - that bird caught a small hornpout today in the pond and spent a good deal of time trying to eat it - to big to stuff down its mouth - pretty cool to watch

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Love both of the videos.

Yes I love the Demon child, I have to laugh at him, even when he is being bad, he is so funny.
I is the only dog that I have every had that argues with me and gives me the doggie one finger.
Here is a picture of him, when he argues with me he will bark with his mouth wide open. No a good picture but it catches him in mid bark. And yes he is just barking.

time for cesar milan i think

South Hamilton, MA

No sound?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I do not think even he can help.. I have trained dogs and Andre is my third Belgian Tervuren. He is a very, very intelligent dog. Part of the problem is he is my helper, but he is smart enough to figure out how to use the things he learns to his own advantage. I thought him to pick up his metal food so I do not have to bend over , now when I am eating some thing he will run and get his food dish. I thought him to help me with the laundry, now if he wants a treat he will drag cloths out of the basket and bring it to me. One day after the laundry was done, I looked up and he was dragging a pillow to me. He only argues with me about how I throw the ball or if he thinks I have been sitting to long which is really part of his job, thought I wish he would not bite my feet but it does get me up. LOL He will also let me use him to get up if I have fallen or if I have trouble getting out of a chair.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Great videos Allison.

That's a scary bark! I'm sure burgulars stay far away from your house. Yaaay! You love him! Just checking. LOL What a good boy he is looking out for you. : )

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

wren from what i've seen cesar can fix any dog issues - and as per usual sounds like this one is also owner induced - you have a good dog there it seems! he wants to keep you going:)

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

yes The problem is I have to let him get away with a lot of things because he has to do his job, My last Terv was wonderful. But he was much older when I had to train him to help me and it was as much him figuring out what was wrong and doing what was needed and him teaching me the his signals . He could alert me to a change before I know it was coming. Andre was a puppy thrown into it with out training. He never know me before the problems started. I am mildly bi-polar and also suffer from depressing and am physically handicapped . As a puppy he did not know what was going on when I was having problem. He handle the physical needs much better but it is sometimes a question of which one of us is bouncing off the walls the most. But he is setting down and figuring out what is needed. And I am doing much better, I have not had a full spell in over a year. And I have not had time to be depressed, he kept me to busy to be depressed.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Allison, love the noise of there toenails on the hardwood.

Wren, good thing you have a dog to help you, that's awesome.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Wren I'm so glad you have the dear devil child. It sounds like he has learned when you need help and is able to assess situations. And BONUS he DANCES ^_^

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Yes I was told by one doctor that I would be in a wheelchair in ten years. That was around 25 years ago. My dogs have keep me moving. I am even biking with both Andre(he is the 3rd) and my neighbors dog-one or twice a day. but we are reaching the temp where I will have to stop for the summer.

Well Andre is saying it is time to go to bed talk at y'all tomorrow.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Dahlia I crossed posted with you. Yelp he can dance. LOl

Nitey nite dear Wren and Devil Child.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

wow Wren... looks tough for sure!!!.. but not while dancing!!

Jen the hardwoods get them on occasion... nothing like thinking you are going to stop... and can't... LOL the lack of traction is funny at times.. takes two or three tries before actually moving

I am just glad to see some improvement with the getting to know each other phase... it was getting upsetting they were not warming up to each other after a week.. but Jily now gave me some hope

They all have to go through that hormonal period

I just love dogs. Even our own 'devil child' can be a love (when he's sleeping)! Those are some fantastic photos of him jumping and dancing.

Thomaston, CT

What a smartie, Wren---you have to keep the smart ones busy---my pointer cross listens in on every conversation---she knows what we're doing before we know it! She also likes her photo taken!
