My beautiful swath of Lunaria was mowed down. Can I try to save them so the seed pod will develope, or is all lost now?
Can I save mowed down Lunaria?
Many plants would grow back after being mowed down--I don't have personal experience with this one so I don't know if it'll come back and bloom again, but all you can really do is wait and see what happens (and be careful that someone doesn't keep mowing them).
Thanks for your time to reply. I've put as many as I can, for now, in pots of fresh soil to see if that will, at least, give them some way to keep on. The seed pods of some seem to be green still, but I don't know the signs that say, "Nope, all done." Till I calm down, thats probubly a good thing. Thanks for the thought.
