Here's another shot. 1st time I ever saw a Cardinal grab a whole peanut

Ducbucln, I use Photoshop elements to edit my shots and use a little color saturation to get the reds to sort of pop.

It turns out there is nothing wrong with my laptop (I am using it right now) so I'm gonna try to post some pics. I haven't taken very many but I have a couple I'd like to share:

I thought that even with the branch this pic turned out nicely.

There hasn't been all that much to shoot lately. I did catch this Red-bellied woodpecker headed up the tree.

An Americian Goldfinch.

Not a great picture but I've never gotten a pic of a pair of hawks before. Even at this distance I believe these are Red-tailed Hawks. ?

One more pic...male Orchard Oriole. I had taken several pics that seemed to focus more on the leaves but finally got one just right!

You're right 24gf5, the bird activity hasn't been great lately about all I have now are Orchard Orioles, Cardinals,Bluebirds, Brown-headed Cowbirds and Red-bellied woodpeckers. Love the Catbird pics. I've only seen one of those and that was about 3 yrs ago. Love to watch birds splashing around in the bird baths.

Great pictures everyone. I haven't had any good pics to add in a while, but I keep checking all your great shots. Here's a couple Purple Martins that were nesting at Longwood Gardens last weekend. I never realized what pretty songsters they were.

Here's Dad... I conveniently cropped out the house sparrow that was trying to steal a roost hole just over his head.
