A A UpDated aug 15 ,2011 Sending plants in this country wide heat is impossible. I m making lists of trades and sending when the heat lets up a bit. Although we have rain today the heat will return in two days...not enough time to get the plants to you. Be forwarned... I am slow to send so wait for your box of plants before you send any to me. I have had people get mad at me for sending plants that died in the box from heat so i am real careful now. | 'special' | Plants, Roots, Tubers and Bulbs, Cuttings | (PlantFiles) |
| Abeliophyllum Species Abeliophyllum distichum new 2009; watch for plants and rooted cuttings in 2010, just unrooted cuttings for now. will be rooting some cuttings for you and hope to have some ready by June 20th. Not available this year 2011-12 | Plants, Cuttings | (PlantFiles) |
|
| Achillea Achillea This is a very small plant so the divisions will be small and for special trades only. the bloom is brilliant red and quite the eye attractant in the cottage garden. IT SURVIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... very little available for trade 2011-2012 | 'Paprika' | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
| Achillea Species Achillea millefolium I have several divisions of this. The flowers bloom white and gradually turn Ivory-beige as they grow older. I love the fact that thisplant can take just about any soil including the very dry and very wet. | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
|
| Achillea Achillea millefolium This plant is not a very bright reddish marroon and tends to fade its color just as quickly as it blooms. The light pink it turns is pretty but not as striking as the paprika. Unknown availability as of may 2010. Have to wait for it to bloom due to the fact that it is mixed in with another. | 'Cerise Queen' | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
| Ajuga Ajuga reptans Although many others have stated that this plant does spread quickly, in my yard it is very contained and behaved. Gorgeous ground cover that blooms in spring. |
| Aquilegia Aquilegia vulgaris comes in purple, blue, white and pink. I have purple. Easily spreads in high acid soil. i have plants but none bloom well and the bloom period they 'do' have is very short. there must be a better plant than this to take up space although the foliage would be nice near the edge of a pond. | 'Northern Lights' | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
| Artemisia Artemisia schmidtiana Once established this has a bit of a barked stem and can reach 4 feet in height. It does not spread like the lime light and can be used to deter rabbits from the vegetable gardens. 5/10 NFT due to winter weather. One very small plantleft and will be propagating it for more next year. | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
|
| Artemisia Artemisia vulgaris Although beautiful this plant is a nightmare for the relaxed gardener. This plant spreads by root and seed and can become invasive if it isn't maintined weekly. Pulled out by the roots a gardener can not get all the roots and will have more babies in the spring. Be careful where you plant this one. It adds color and texture to any garden and can be contained in a pot in the soil. I will be adding it to the front garden this year now that I know it can be contained. 5/10 PTT plenty to trade | 'Oriental Limelight' | Plants, Cuttings | (PlantFiles) |
| Astilbe Species Astilbe chinensis tightly clustered lavender pink flowers with very stiff erect stems. Mulching can ease mid summer drought and dryness. 5/10 PTT plenty to trade | Plants | (PlantFiles) |

| Astilbe Astilbe x arendsii Brilliant dark red in shade, not too many of this one.
