Willow, how is your mom doing? And how are you holding up?

Well, yesterday was just great. She was feeling good and got up for tea in the kitchen and was saying really funny stuff. Today not so good. Uncomfortable all over. She did get up and go out in the wheelchair to sit on the front porch though. I'm just really tired and doing only the necessarys. I have someone to come in tomorrow to sit with mom while I take the dogs in for grooming and do some shopping. Yeah!

Make sure you don't get yourself run down too much. Shopping is good, need to do some fun things too.

When I went into mom's room and saw this pose I had to snap it. It was so cute. My brother Mike and mom.

Your Mom is very lucky to have such caring children. Beautiful shot! Your brother will cherish that one! Be sure he takes one of you and Mom!

Willow, I think about you nearly every day and hope everything turns out as best it can. I may very well be going through the same in the not too distant future as my Mom is 91 and starting to fail pretty quickly.
Your mom must have done a really good job with you children and I see her efforts are being rewarded daily now.

Letting you know, I'm going away for a few days for a nephew's wedding down in Atlanta, but want you to know that I'll be thinking of you and mom. What a great photo. I'll check in when I get home.

How nice that your brother can help look after and comfort your mom. What a beautiful bouquet. Glad to see you're finding time in the garden, beautiful lily! And the birdhouse.

Willow, I was away for the weekend and was thinking about you and mom. Mine seemed agitated when I got back then I found out my brother only gave her 2 of 3 doses of one of her meds. Now, to try to get her back on schedule. Big hugs.

Mom passed away at 11:00 AM this morning. Again thanks for all your caring and flowers, you all helped keep me strong.

Oh, I am so very sorry. My heart breaks for you. I am glad you got to be with her.

I know it is a difficult time right now...but it is good that you got to spend her final days with her....I missed that with my dad....and we know they are in a good place now. I didn't want to say anything earlier but our friend and neighbor Doris passed away on the fourth. It has been a difficult week for all of us. ((((Hugs and prayers to you and your family)))).
