Lovely Pics All!!
Thanks Karen, Jo Ann and Stormy! yep Stormy... Rhody's do very well here and I have lots of shade, so they're a good fit for me! I know that I have at least 40 different ones, but I'm thinking that it's closer to 60 if I were to count them all now.
Bill... You're making me think that I need ot get another Josephine! I guess that's a good thing.
It looks like Pattys Plum.
Its barely light but I think I can see the Royal Wedding poppy in bloom, across the lawn.
I just planted it a month ago, GC half price sale, I couldny resist.
ohhh Pretty... I've never heard of that one before. It's nice.
wow RC that is a lot of rhody's!
OOOPS Cross posted. Dont pay any attention to that old woman behind the curtain in robe with coffee. LOL
thank you.... I agree it's nice since only 2 out of 5 that i bought lived
Love Manhatten.
RC your Rhodies are beautiful
One Wish!
That percentage sounds like my "collection "purchase from Bluestone last year and Van Bourgundien many years ago when 100% died befor two months in the ground. It put me off mail order altogether.Until 20 years later I found DG's WatchDog
well I think the wacky weather this year had a lot to do with it... they were all from HCG... came in great shape... a third one even started coming up and then the cold snap got it.. I don't see any movement from the rest
Lol...Thanks Jo Ann....I agree, DG has really helped avoic crappy plant buying experiences.
Allison... only 2 out of 5 Rhody's have lived for you? Wow, that's not good. They should grow all right there. I agree with Jo Ann, need to find a good place to get them from!
what's HCG?
sorry confusing morning... and i am not awake yet.. can't keep up...
:)
2 out of 5 poppies ... and high country gardens
ohhh ok... that makes much more sense now! I'm not awake either! lol.. that's why I'm calling it quits and getting some shut eye.
sweet dreams!
oohh I like that one!!
It really glows in this light. It will be great in a few years when Columbine Black Barlow catches up with it.
Pretty poppy Allison....love the color!!
Jo Ann yours finally opened!! YAY!!!!!!! It's beautiful!!!!!!!!
thank you dear... I am still wondering where that SI came from... it wasn't from what I bought last year. either that was given to me by one of you guys... OR I bought it a few years back and it never bloomed until now
???

Windy there too huh, Allison?
Anita, What a neat looking nasturtium. Great color on that poppy.
