Thanks Resin, those hard working woodpeckers. I bet they do get terrible headache from time to time due to the nature of their work. lol.

Here is a hummer dinning at the Salvia guaranitica.

Luckie....Speaking for myself. I am doing nothing to attract the swallows to my yard. I live in an area where they are. I am near very near a large lake, a small pond just a few lots down and lots of trees and woods. Always have them around just had never had them up this close to the house!

Rose, what are you bibing those birds with to pose so pretty?? Your photos just are unreal!!

A pair of Cardinals...we seem to have several who have not nested as of yet.

They actually have spring-loaded brains to cushion the brain from the thump-thump-thump! So they don't get headaches ;-)

Mockingbird in cherry tree

Mockingbird with fledgling. I tried to catch her as she fed it the cherry but the fledgling moved around and gulped the whole cherry so fast it happened before I could find and focus. Fledgling is on the left.

This young couple of Tree Swallows are probably still in training. They seem to be doing more watching the house next to them where there are already little ones ready to fledge.

There are at least two small Tree Swallows that should be flying out any day now.

Only Resin would know that woodpeckers have spring-loaded brains...LOL!

LOL, I've started all that mess about the 'Headaches' lol. I've as many as five six of these blackcap chickadees (?) or are they Carolina wrens that came to my feeder lately. It could be new fledglings. They're very social, I just saw one fed another with the seed just now but wasn't quick enough to take pix.

Dave, your Grackle is beautiful too! You and Nanny are so lucky to see these birds.

Do each of you have the Common and the Great-tailed? It looks like my Brewer's Blackbird but the book says the Common is 11in. and the Great-tailed is 18in.

Lily, your little chickadee is so cute!!

I wish *I* had a spring-loaded brain.
