I'm curious how the ratings are broken down to determine the top dogs and how often the List is updated.

The list is updated automatically every time someone posts a rating anywhere on the GWD. Dave has programmed it to recalculate the rankings each time.

The formula is a bit harder to describe. More weight is given to the more recent posts. This keeps a company from 'resting on their laurels' so to speak, and gives one that has a troubled past a chance to make things right. More weight is given to the recent negatives, as this denotes a current problem.

We do not physically adjust the list. The programming will automatically drop one company and add another if the rankings specify it.
