I planted a tree in memorial today

I could have put this in my own yard which is full of many trees, and plants. I planted one in my neigbors yard. For her and my self in Memorial. Chilopsis linearsis, AKA Desert Willow. May the flowers next spring symbolize HOPE, for the so many families that are now realizing they have lost their loved ones. No more survivors have been found.
I will be making a plaque for it next.

What a wonderful idea, Michelle!! I'm goning to do the same this week in my yard!!! Only now I have to pick out a tree... any ideas????

Mich we have planted so much in the past few months and just recently some hollies. Today I planted daffodils under the holly trees. So this will be my tribute. An evergreen that never sheds it's leaves and will only grow stronger in stature and the yellow carpet at it's feet which will herald in another beautiful Spring!!

Oops... I see... I read these threads too fast.... so someone else, Louisa, has a heart as good as yours and that's who had the idea!!! Wonderful!!! What's the status of going to Germany soon- has that been jeopardized by any of this???
