I will email Liz and let her know.

Thanks for the heads up to the ones who emailed me about this.
I should be flattered that someone thought my terribly amateur photos were worthwhile to sell his plants. lol
But I will look into this.
Thank you

I have discovered that greenleafgardens is right here in Jacksonville where I live! BUT! he will NOT let you visit his nursery or pick up any plants that you may have won on the auctions. Sounds VERY suspicious! I intend to find out where he does live!
I hate that all of you are having your photos stolen for use on ebay--that is just WRONG!

Uh oh...
Don't be suspicious just because he won't allow visitors or pickups. Some growers are mail-order only and don't have retail facilities. I'm one of them. I have so much to do between propagating, pollinating, website updates, seed cleaning, answering mail, spraying, watering - that I just couldn't handle having customers drop in for pickups or visits. As it is, during the selling season, I work from about 9:30am to sometimes 2:00am in the morning.

I know the photo thing is annoying. I once had a papaya photo heisted by The Vatican!
Who do I sue? LOL!!!!

What gordo says applies to me as well. When it's a one person show there just isn't time for walk-ins.Since I like to talk gardening,I can waste a half day with a couple of customers and sell $2.00 worth of plants.Add to that the cost of liability insurance and
it just isn't possible.Besides, with no on site customers the weeds can always wait another day.

True, JT. My DH is available for some of the bull work, but otherwise its just me. Add to the above making up hundreds of seed orders and wrapping plants securely for shipping, and you have a pretty full plate.
Still, I enjoy visits from friends who take the quick tour, accept the plant present(s), then leave me to do my work. Nobody who comes to visit leaves without something.
...which includes the squirrels that eat hibiscus buds.
I'M ON THE LOOKOUT GUYS!!!!

Jacksonville, FL

I can appreciate the "no pick-up" if he has a legitimate nursery like Liz or JT but I seriously doubt it (Both of you have websites and this guy not only does not have one but he is rude when responding to questions) and the shipping to local gardeners here is Jax is more than extreme. For now I will let it rest and hope anyone who has bought from him get what they ordered
