here we go the first ones to bloom ....
double blanc de coubert
Yay...blooms everywhere... even roses....
What fun, Kassia!! And your roses and clems are gorgeous as usual! Your blooms are way ahead of mine! I don't have a clem or a rose blooming yet. Happy Day....good for you!!
Louise
I love Deb's little car too. And her Therese is lovely!!
Sorry for getting in the middle of your postings!! LOL I'll hold off a bit.
Louise, it's really weird this year... peonies are not blooming yet... but some roses are... and the clematis also... amazing how nature can surprise us..,
Cool thing! and yes, I go outside and it's such a pleasure...
Everything looks great, Kassia...nice nails!
Kassia, how about some advice for this fellow dg'r?

how wonderful Kassia... the seat belts made me laugh... thanks!
Everything looks wonderful Kassia! Love the seatbelt.
What a great way to do a veggie garden, Kass!!! Everything looks so great at your place! I miss you too......we'll remedy that once things settle down here. We are WAY behind in our open-up and necessary projects here because of the surprise visit and festivities surrounding the DSDs. Now the garden has to get in in order to have the veggies reach fruition before we have to close up, so we're both pressing here!
We, too, have spotted a woodchuck in the yard. Oh Dear. Moral dilemmas abound! I'm heading out to do some planting now!!! Have a glorious day!!
Kassia, you always bring a big smile to my face! LOVE the roses, of course! I can't believe how far along your clems are, mine are just considering that maybe they'll bud. My rose buds are very tiny. There's a very old one that came back after I chopped all the bushes that were choking it. Didn't bloom last year but this year it's covered with buds, so it'll be interesting to see what the flowers look like. Those really raised beds look great, wonderful idea!
My neighbor actually scolded me yesterday for spending too much time in the yard on the weekends after working all week. I told him this is what I live for all week! Too funny.
Kassia - that was soo much fun! The buggle looks empty without the roses in it. We all (even Andrew) slept in REALLY late this morning. You've probably been up for hours planting, right?
DonnieBrook - do you have a big dog? Andrew is a pretty good woodchuck deterrent. :)
Deb
Deb, at the moment we are dogless.....not yet ready to adopt another one. My son's dog, Donnie (my DH namesake) will come to Grandma's for two different weeks this summer while my son travels. He likes to sleep curled around my neck! LOL He will be searching here for Molly, but we'll just deal with it.
That shot of your buggle with the roses seatbelted in was just priceless!! So glad you guys had so much fun AND got new plants as well. Perfect day, huh?
Here are a couple of blooms to share on my end.... white bleeding heart in full profusion, attracting bees, butterfies and hummers all day.
*Gasp*, what beauties! Gee, I wonder if I took any iris, I'm thinkin' not though. I was such an overwhelmed newbie at Kassia's I don't remember what I took except some Lilacs, which are doing well, maybe blooms next year. Gorgeous happiness to come home to, eh DB?
