Acouple of times I've had something cut them a couple of inches from the ground. I'm thinking rabbits.
Victor, any favorites you think I might try?
Garden Photos of '09.....#21
Oh, you are very lucky then, Victor. I wish I would stop getting it. Maybe I will call the local extension office and see if they can help me with a remedy for that. So far I have not had that problem on the 'Guernsey Cream' one. I have read that the large flowered clems are most susceptible to it.
Karen
Yes, I would do that, Karen. I do remember Debbie (Silver Star) telling me once that what many think is wilt is actually something else, but I don't remember what!
Jumper - what color is the rose?
Jen I love that Ruby Port... I don't think your snapdragon is one... the leaves usually don't look like that.. unless it's something I haven't seen... but I have been growing them for years and never saw one that looked like that... maybe something close to it?
Thanks Victor....and gorgeous shots! I love clem niobe. It always looks so regal! It's fun watching the Allium! You can't possibly ID 100% of everything... but if anybody could, it'd be you.
Jumper.... I love the Iris Indian Doll. In fact I think that you may have just ID'ed a noid of mine.
Jen... the Ruby port is very pretty.
Everyones Alliums are way ahead of most of mine.
Thanks Allison! Both of those flowers belong to the same plant! that's part of what makes it my favorite! Hopefully I'll get a good picture of the whole plant tomorrow.
beautiful rhodie Shelly.
Ive never seen flowers that big.
I like that striped one RC
Thanks Shelly. Beautiful rhody. Nice heuchera, Jo Ann. Did you plant the Corallinum yet? Make extra sure the site is very well-drained and protected from PM sun. It's a fussy one and the one I recently got from that 'co-op' has apparently failed, despite my best efforts.
I'll take a pix.be back soon
Gets AM sun and bright shade all day except late afternoon.
hmmm if it's not a baby snap I have to do some investigating.
Those rhodies are gorgeous, I love the striped one.
Nice heuchera, Jo Ann
Pretty!
love the pics such beautifull flowers
Thanks, folks for all those great photos---Jo Ann---you've ID'd my huechera! And I'm drooling over the yellow peony! Shelley, loved the striped rhodo, but the white was lovely, too---Victor---clems are too nice, mine are only budded. Karen, loved the Sea Sprite---I know it was bred by Mildred ? & can't think of her last name! Karen, your first NOID looks like asparagus. Here is my big white rhodie blooming....
Thanks All.... if/when I ever mover from here, the striped rhody is going with me. It'll be in the contract. lol
Jo Ann... I can't think of any better remembrance plant than a pretty blue hosta. Thanks!!
The tree peony is lovely. as is the heurchera. I think that I want that one now!.
Very pretty pretties Robin!
Schicken.... Why not just trim the flower stalks of the fescue off? if that's the issue.
ooohhhhh.... Hot fudge is pretty too!
