Oh Lady Crone...thanks for the lamb...oven is fired up. Dh doesn't care much for it so I rarely get to enjoy. So glad to see Duke and Daisy go_vols. My "feet warmers" are too busy having fun to sit still and my feet are a bit chilly. The weather has been perfect lately...warm days and cool nights. Skynard is great...maybe a different CD then the one we have. Anyone want to check on the bonfire with me??? oh phooey...forgot to get marshmallows!! Oh well...so much for smoores...some girlscout I am. It's such fun having you all over. I'm proud you could find your way along the dirt roads...ie: hang a left at the sleeping dog then left again at the big oak. LOL

nonono!! I have marshmallows, brought them just in case. You can't have a bonfire without smoores!!!!!!!! oh, these are soooooo good!!!

Just got invited to this party so here I am with some New England baked beans and some fried Hornpout I just caught today. It's not a party without some beans. LOL. Now can someone tell me where the winecoolers are?

Oh no am I to late did I miss the party. I brought the makings for smores. Got the graham crackers, hershey bars and marshmallows... hey is there any food left? I think I heard something about apple pie!

snowhermit...in the cooler and do you make the beans from scratch in a REAL bean pot???? My mom used to make the best beans....yours are VERY close. (Naturally one's own Mom is/was the best cook) SOOOOO glad some partiers were wearing thinking caps...definately not a bonfire without smoores...oh my...I'm so sticky and chocolate is running down my arm. Really should go easy on the Herseys.

Ya know...we're going to have to carry this party over a third day!! I'll grab some salt potatoes and corn on the cob. If we're running low on drinks, I can bring some good
wine from the Finger Lakes region.

Thanks Ginger, Ahh that wine cooler is soooo good. Yes I make the beans from scratch but I cheat and make them in my crock pot.

Hey I heard someone say this partty was calming down. I don't thik so. I just ordered pizza with all the goodies, for those who came late. I also just refilled the cooler. So turn up the music and lets have some fun. Who said mondays can't be fun, Uh Oh 12:00 am. Or Tuesdays for that matter.

Mmmmmm, I just toasted a marshmallow and sprinkled butterscotch chips on it. They're soooo good this way - try one!

Ooooooh! Gardenhubby ordered pizza. I love pizza. Hope one has pepperoni on it

I love pizza!!! Glad I managed to stay awake long enough. But I think Ginger has another garden bed in her plans!! :) sneaky Ginger, but I like your style. Oh, btw, can I change the water in my cutting bucket? I think I've gotten a cutting off everything you have:)

That sure was tasty rack of lamb. The best I've had in ages, Lady Crone! Hey, Ginger, crank up the sound on those Bose, please. I need to dance off a few calories before I start in on my 5th course.

Dessert...everyone gets their just desserts...double helping for me! and some of those marshmallows - you guys really know how to toast them...

Ok ok, better late than never, here I am with fresh hot manicottii in hand, hope ya'll still have room.

Also for the wonderful hostess Ginger a box of hosta for that new garden bed!! So move over, I'm pulling up a chair.

Jody, if I admit I've never had manicottii can I move to the front of the line?? Can't believe all I've eaten, and I'm still wanting more, but you guys are such great cooks.

Sorry it took so long to get here......it's a looonng way from Texas! I brought us some Southern Fried Chicken, and some of DH's famous tater salad and some Jalapeno cornbread and some Blueberry cobbler....and heck ya, I'll have a glass of that Napa Valley wine! Hey, can i come, i am not much of a cook but i can bring GH to entertain us with his live music & great voice. He does all kinds of music, and yes, he does lynard skynard. Maybe some of you will get up & sing too! I can bring rocks for your new rock garden too Ginger.

Thanks ladystepper and welcome to the party. Oh boy...more live music...when all is said and done we'll have a band!! Wow...I've already gone through 4 rolls of film and filled a memory card on the digital. The new gardens are looking great..my thumbs will turn green if this keeps up. YEA!!!!!

Dog burn it I went and burned the Lasangna again! Got so busy visiting I just plumb forgot it was in the oven! DH says it reminds him of our first home cooked meal together all those years ago :) but it wasn't the computer party that distracted me back then.....LOL So he took me out to eat!

Zany, that's one surefire way of gettin' a meal out....hee, hee...works every time!

I'm always late, but I have homemade pies, one peanut butter and one peanut butter and chocolate with Godiva toffee pieces on top. Since I'm pregnant better pass on the wine coolers, Can I have a huge glass of milk? Oh and I brought the DS (2 1/2) to help entertain the puppies.

Ladycrone, that lamb was delicious! I hadn't had lamb in years. May I have some of the fried chicken? Looks yummy! I think after this party, I'll probably take to my sick bed for a week after I get home!! Doris
