Patty, he won't be the only one after he sends some to us..yeah Dale, it's a survival technique..send plants to other gardeners to ensure it survives in case something goes wrong in your location..uh huh..yep..works really good.

Tampa, FL(Zone 10a)

What's in it for me?

Thumbnail by DaleTheGardener
Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I thought that was obvious....the survival of your plant in case something happens to it in your location!! lol

Joeswife, it is nice that you enjoy your flowers indoors as well. As a child it was my job to cut flowers for the house, whenever we had company. I find myself still doing it.

Rita, Your fausto anthurium may eat you out of house and home along with the other Anthurium and philodendron that you have posted. I would be in heaven if I could grow them outside here;-) I have to add, beautiful bloom on your philo.

I do not know much at all about this butterfly plant (Cristia obcordata) other than it like's high humidy and warm temp's. Time will tell if it make's here as a houseplant.

Enjoying all the bloom pic's everyone.

RachelLF, thanks, I only wish that I could leave them out to grow to their full size. In November, I have to cover them up again. Usually, a few will die down to the roots and come back again in the Spring.
