Thanks jmorth; I remember your lily show from last year and your huge masses of Asiatics - was outstanding.

Howdy Donna!

BTW Donna your tulips look terrific!~

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

NOW I recognize it - that's spectacular. You am half a zone from you and wasn't sure I could try these. Could be worth the risk. I think they'd be great with Silk Road. The color of the heart of both plants is very close, if not a perfect match.

Thanks!

Donna

Hey Stevie! You're a doll!

OK so its almost June but I finally got my latest version of photo editor figured out so y'all have to put up with daffies and tulips again. Starting with what seemed to be a favorite, New Design tulip. I have grown it for years and highly recommend it. I forgot the name of the one with the yellow edged leaves, those blooms are yellow when they open. I alternated the two tulips all along this bed, about forty feet.

Nectaroscordum has turned into a small clump after a couple of years. Last one tonight. Need to start working on iris photos next!

It's great to see bulb flowers now - mine are all a distant memory. Your photos are gorgeous Pardalinum!

My tulips are gone except on called Mickey Mouse which is still looks great, but I have lots of Narcissus still in bloom. And with this cool weather, they will be out in the next week. I love having them up with the allium and iris. I will post a pictures soon, but I am on the wrong computer. Patti

Nectaroscordum is such a beautiful plant. The insides of the flowers are so colorful and often go unseen. I tried to capture a view from below. It did not work out to great, but I like this shot anyway.

Great new infusion of pics. I'd thought this thread had about fizzled out.

So nice to see more spring bulbs.

Folks, I can't believe there are still bulbs blooming anywhere but Canada. Pardalinum your blooms are all lovely. Even my Allium are all gone. Jmorth you have some very interesting flowers.

Hey, does this bulb count? Arisaema Ringens

I've had some very nice red, white an blue anemones just in time for Memorial day.

A few Dutch Iris spread throughout the beds. I've discovered that these are difinitely not the thing to plant in a windy area!

The leaves on that Arisaema are quite striking.

Just an oddity here. Have you ever seen a Campanula grow taller than an Allium? Those A. Mont Blancs are 4' tall. The ground behind them slopes downward. These Peachleaf Bellflowers are close to 5'!!

bbookrd, I am curious about which narcissus you still have in bloom?! Mine are long gone and you are a full zone ahead of us!

Very nice bell flower shot, stormyla. Mine are just 3 feet or so and flopping all over the place.

Can anyone here tell me if I plant Arum italicum bulbs now or in the fall. Has anyone had any success with these?

Norristown, PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Tabasco. I plant them anytime. They always grow well. Just split two clumps to give away at our swap. Here's one before the split. That big leaf was over 14" long.

Only a few spring bulbs still blooming here. Allium nigrum has returned well.
