Not a great pic, but the Ruby-throated Hummingbird has showed up yesterday.

Met. I have considered a BB box...I am just not sure if I can do it. That was hard...

Great pics....we have a hummer buzzing around the yard checking things out so maybe it is one of ours returning. Maybe can get some pics tomorrow. And saw more Indigo Buntings on our walk this morning. Have been working out in the yard the last couple of days and getting the garden planted.

Anyway...Gray Catbirds are EVERYWHERE this year!

Hi, Jec6 and Resin! So glad to hear that you think our resident is a young Red-tail. That's what I was hoping you'd say. Maybe we'll get rid of our moles without having to buy "Purina Mole Chow." LOL I'll try to get a better photo tomorrow. BTW, my DH and I went for a hike yesterday in Prince William National Park, near our home. We were wearing red windbreakers, and a hummer flew up right beside us when we stopped to rest.

Melbourne, FL

After taking a couple of pics of the space shuttle this afternoon, I caught this Osprey flying over, carrying a fish.

I've been so bummed about no decent birds to photograph lately. However I did take this one and another one today. Baby bluebirds at my work.....

I saw this baby goldfinch in my yard and took a pic. I knew he was young when he let me rub him and hold him, then he flew away. That was cool!
