New Garden Projects This Year #3

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Well Jan IMPO it is yellowy but doesn't look like pee so I'm goin with it. Good thing I'm a naturally joyful person rather than a naturally grumpy person. I'm goin for it. I will post pics.

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Love the transformation all ready.

Janet

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Thanks so much Janet ^_^ and kiss, kiss Cousin Nut ^_^

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

There would be NO way my hubby would let me paint the outside of anything purple.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Randy would if it was darker purple... LOL

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Lilac foundations will happen if you go see the paint guy by yourself. DH does like it though, especially as I describe it as grey with a hint of a tint ^_^

South Hamilton, MA

Sneaky

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

That's how I describe my hair, too.!!! Gray with just a hint of a tint. ^_^

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Tee hee Jan23. I like to say I'm a brunette with silvery touches.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Actually, it's more than a tint. :)

I heard a friend's DH say one time that he told his wife, ' if the barn door needs paint, then paint it' :)

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

My hair is brunette with red touches and gray touches.

Karen

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

I'm just a brunette with gray or should I say soon to be gone gray......LOL

Janet

South Hamilton, MA

I'm grey with memories of blonde.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm bald with memories of blond.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

^_^

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

full head of hair with signs of character beginning to show - when my father started loosing his hair growing up he would drop a "wait till you get older" often - being a good son today I offer to let him rub my head every now or then so he can feel what it was like when he was young:)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I have very, very thick brunette hair that use to have hightlights of auburn and strawberry-blonde. Now it's Mousey brown with highlights of gray, silver and white!! lol

South Hamilton, MA

I was strawberry blonde & the auburn hairs are the strands which turn grey first--turning to blonde, turning to grey.

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

Ya'll crack me up. Love hearing everyones take on the not so welcomed gray highlights...

Janet

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

My DH is one of a kind...he tells me to wear them w/pride as I EARNED every one of those grays!!!!!!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

strawberry blonde with silver highlights here.....my hairdresser says she's never seen so many colors on one head of hair! LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I always considered strawberry blond a flavor.

Southeastern, NH(Zone 5b)

I know I shouldn't go here but I am a dirty blonde! Lol

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee - the dirtier the better.

Southeastern, NH(Zone 5b)

Meanwhile my true luv was digging his way to China

pee?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

..and then mention of the true luv!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Katye I discovered that there is no clear weatherproofing. All of the long lasting ones have 'sunscreen' in them now which has a yellow tint. Awhile back on this thread I whined about how after I'd waited to age the wood to the colour I want, now it will look like someone 'peed' on it so now I'm calling it 'pee'. Just me being childish as usual (snort).

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I am so not worthy of my true luv right now Victor. OMG he's digging out solid clay and with my bad back all I can do it flutter around and bring him refreshing beverages. I HATE having a bad back. Fortunately the digging to China part is almost over and then I can jump in there and rake and level and pace things off in dahliafeets and lay landscape fabric and shovel sand and rake and THEN flutter around and bring refreshing beverages ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I can truly sympathize, dnut. Worse when one knee is real bad too.

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

oooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I forgot! Thought it might stand for some super-duper secret process you had invented - you know I take what you say very seriously, DNut! And always waiting for the rest of the episode...
Are you still headed out my way this summer?

Tell DH to use a mattock - makes clay busting much easier!

Bummer Victor about the bad knee too!!! Yes Katye I'm a comin ^_^ Aug 20th or 21st but I think that may be the PNW reunion??? I'm going to the PNW thread to check it out. Also hope to catch dear Pooch when she isn't working.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Dahlia - you and DH are really working hard !!! I love the image I have of you fluttering around.....LOL

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

hurray - you can sun-dance for the entire PNW region!
The PNW reunion is the following weekend. But you are welcome whenever!
Pooch is a dear busy Lady. She lives about 15 minutes from me - very easy to get to her place.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

But Celeste flutters as Tink! Maybe a flutter off in the works?
