I'm sure that pretty much everyone here knows who Osmocote is, but for the few who don't, they are a fertilizer company that makes a well known and well respected slow release fertilizer.
Osmocote has recently launched a new product called Osmocote PotShots and they've asked us to spread the word about their new product. They correctly knew that we were the best place to get the word out. :)
So, there are a few banner ads running (you won't see them if your ads are turned off) and I'm writing this post to let you know about it, AND more importantly, to let you know about a cool contest they are running.
First, here is what they say about the product:
You can use Osmocote PotShots "Plant Food Nuggets" to get beautiful plants without the stress or mess. It's the ideal way to conveniently feed hanging baskets, tubs, pots, window boxes, or any plant in a container. Learn more about Osmocote's newest product, PotShots Plant Food Nuggets, and all the other great Osmocote products at http://www.osmocote.com
Now, along with their new product launch, Osmocote is sponsoring an online
sweepstakes featuring a grand prize trip for two to Washington D.C. with
visits to the National Garden and the U.S. Botanic Garden.
Additionally, each day they will be awarding a $100 Smith & Hawken gift card and you can enter the contest every day until June 30, 2009. The more days you enter, the more chances to win! There is a good chance that many of all of the winners may be DG members. ^_^
1) One time only, you have to register for the chance to win the grand prize and to play daily for a chance to win a $100 Smith & Hawken gift card.
2) Once registered, just go back each day to try again for another win. To play the trivia game all you need to do is click on the link below and enter the email address you registered with and you will then be directed to the PotShots Garden trivia game.
3) There will be a new winner every day and playing the daily trivia game increases your chances of winning the grand prize trip for two to D.C to visit the National Garden and the U.S. Botanic Garden.

Have fun! If anybody wins, it'd be great if they posted to this thread to let us know.
