I tried so hard to get a pic of this Golden Crowned Night Heron and her babies. She built her nest in a good spot though b/c it's pretty darn hard to photograph!

Wow, if I would have known there was a place to just put bad pictures, that's where I would have been sending mine! LOL! Here's a picture of the Indigo Bunting. They're really hard to get a good shot of because they're so darn fast, and extremely shy. The female's seem to be curious and daring though.

Hey, that's a "Dream Sequence" bird photo!

They kept on turning around and showing me their back side like they knew I was there. I got this Painted Bunting for a second before he flew off.

Indigo Bunting... but you can't really tell because of the lighting and the angle of how I shot the picture. Man I wish I could have gotten that shot.

Thank you! I wish I could afford a really good camera you know. These birds are so beautiful... and fast, and I would love to take a GREAT picture like some of the other ones I have seen. But I have proof! My husband thought I was lying when I told him that I had seen this colorful bird. I didn't know at the time that these birds even existed, but I knew that I had seen something. I got up extra early one morning to get a picture of it, and I caught a picture of the Painted Bunting, with a female mating. Came home and looking it up online, and found out what it was and was hooked. Then I started noticing all kinds of AMAZING birds! I love bird watching.

Hopefully I will get a great picture in a few days. I'll keep trying that's for sure. They don't seem to stay very long. LOL!! They look mad at each other.

Okay, okay the finch was cute with its curious look at the photographer. lol. I'm tickled pink having this Redheaded Woodpecker returning to the barren tree. I've heard it pecking noises alot especially in early morning hours. I hope they're making a come back to their home.

My first attempt this morning to get the 3 pileateds on the tree... eeek! I was trying to hurry in case they all flew away....

Nanny, at least they're all there. lol. I'm so jealous, I've never seen the in person before.

Here's a real bad pic... I kinda like it though because he has his back turned toward me but his head is turned all the way around like an owl. Not sure if you can see the picture of the woodpecker or not?.....

thought so too. I was really really far away when the shot was taken, so it's very grainy. But thought it was neat. Ha ha, it is odd.
