My DH spent all week while I was gone cleaning & grading the old donkey pen (the pen is old not the donkeys....we moved them) and making a superb planting spot for me as soon as it warms up.
This morning I was looking at all the happy birds foraging in the newly turned manure for worms.....
I looked at DH and said "Wow. look at that fat robin."
He said..."It's probably pregnant."
Shaking My Head
Your expectations are too high.....
Snicker... out of the mouths of babes...and husbands...
LOL...makes you wonder sometimes!
He is a pretty good source of entertainment and handy with a lawn tractor....
Ginger
What more could you want in a man!
I'm thinking, give me a minute
Perhaps some intimate activity and if he could cook..........
I'm still thinking
oh, yeh, someone to remind me of what I was thinking about.
You ladies are so funny! My DH can do ALL of that!^_^
but is he 69?
No, he's 58.^_^
girl, you got some catching up to do before you or hubby is as old as we 2
Gardener - take a cutting of your DH and maybe it will grow....
OHhhhh.. he cooks, cleans, can milk a goat, feeds donkeys, gathers eggs, does laundry, is overly endowed and waters my plants :)
OH OH and is about to be a grandfather to a little BOY! (We've had all girls up to now...)
Ginger
Ginger you are a lucky woman indeed! :)))))
Ladies, you are tooooooo funny!
Pix - if there is such a thing I want to see it.
I love Y'all but not sending a picture....imagination is much more fun.
is mine.
Besides.. I got you a picture of my pregnant bird... what more do you want?
OH OH.. I can show you a picture of my grandSON....including the "SON" part...LOL but this is a family channel.
Ginger
Oh please Beadmom do not post such a photo! Let our imaginations soar.....
OK to stand up for the men. One maybe the robin is egg bound and would look like the fetus is in the vent, two he was just trying to make conversation with something you like and enjoy as a loving spouse would do. Three maybe the bird is a rare marsupilized genetic variation and your husband is right on. Fourth maybe his mistress has given him some difficult news and he is unable to tell you. LOL
I like the 'marsupialized' version. Now that's imaginative!
Portland, if there is such a thing, I have never seen it myself! If I ever do, you will be second in line for the viewing, I promise.
Yes, Beadmom. A picture, in this case, would completely ruin it! Our imaginations are best untamed by reality. LOL!
Frankly, I am still rolling on the floor laughing about Portland's comment - oh, so serious and deadpan, to be sure - 'Your expectations are too high.' That one just tickled me to death!
ROFLMBO!!!!!!
Ginger, my hubby hasn't milked a goat, BUT he has milked a BEEF COW!!!! And yes, he can do all of the other things yours can do too!
CONGRATULATIONS on the Grandson!^_^
Judi, NO WAY, I'M KEEPIN' THIS GUY ALL TO MYSELF!!!^_^
LOVE THOSE IMAGES!!!!
Steve, I'm proud of you for sticking up for the men!
Susan105
But Oh burn on the last statement Sofer. Tsk, tsk.
Beadmom - by any chance will your DH be at the roundup? I don't think I can meet him without giggling.
I might have to bring him just for the fun......
Ginger
^_^
Does he have a brother?
^_^ ^_^
He has TWO brothers.....
Do they have similar characteristics?
^_^ ^_^ ^_^
Nope...
He got all the good stuff.
Ginger
Ginger, exactly how do you know???
HUmmm.. Well...
That's not family appropriate tale. (Unless you're the Paytons)
Ginger
Girls even get nasty. ROTFLMBO.
Ginger I will take him under my wing and let him know how to "deal" with the group.
