Here are a couple of doves from Alnwick Garden.

A male Cardinal & a female House Finch

We don't seem to be getting as many Chipping Sparrows in the yard this year as we have in the past. Though I see lots out and about. Maybe too many bigger birds.

A Blue Jay the other morning....

I moved the finch feeder out on the red maple tree in the back yard. It is outside of the fence. So it is a bit away from the other feeder. The Gold Finch seem to be very happy with the move. So maybe they will visit more during the summer and not disappear like last year!

It doesn't make for good photography...but at least we can see them.

Knip those are some nice colored doves and pigeon (looks like my morning doves)

I've been seeing the chipping sparrow at my suet feeder. I'm trying to get some shots of it.

The female blackbird looks different than the ones here - well at least to my eyes anyway

Resin, The reason why I thought it was mom and youngster was because I see it constantly chasing dad around begging for food which he does feed her, Got a photo of it though not a very good one .........

Love those Laughing Gulls wren...I rarely get to see shore birds.

A few Pine Siskins showed up briefly the other day.

And a Bewick's Wren has showed up a few times also.

Rose, I loved your Mr & Mrs photos. I just got a couple of my Bluebirds, but they're never around long enough to get the best pictures. I think the Pine Siskins have all left our area, happy you were able to get shots of yours and that Bewick's is a cutie. I love their song.

The Barn Swallows are in full gear now and continue to taunt me on the high wire!

The Chipping Sparrows were singing the other night and have been absent today so they must have traveled on.

I use to have barn swallows at my place when I lived back in the Northern states, None at the new place so really enjoyed the photo dellrose!

In the excitement of the Blues fledging the other day I almost forgot about the shot of a Baltimore Oriole that showed up briefly. I have grape jelly and oranges all other the place but haven't seen another since.

Thanks The nesting season is starting down here. The dunes there is a nesting site. I was in my car, moving slowly among the birds resting on the beach. Everywhere there where birds that where pairing up.

Oh sure Rose just keep rubbing it in! Great shot!

Wish we could do the car thing up here wren but the dunes are built real high.
