Trying to report an Error

I am trying to use the contact us for inappropriate language on a thread but I can not figure it out. It says it needs my email. Can someone please help me figure this out?????

You shouldn't have to put in your email address--you just go to the "contact us" link on the bottom of any page, choose "I have a general question or comment" from the dropdown list, and then put your info in the subject line and body of the post. You can then preview your message, and once you've previewed it you'll get a "send" button that will submit it. There is a message that pops up after you submit saying something about making sure that DG has your correct email address on file so that you'll get the response from admins. I think that's outdated now, I know anytime I've sent a message via "contact us" I always get a response here via dmail so I don't think you need to worry about your email address.

I just kept getting the Error message and never got it to go beyond the preview. No send button ever appeared. I will try something and see if that works. Thanks

Nope no send button...just preview... and my email is on file. Oh well

If you're not seeing the send button, you might not have chosen a question type from the dropdown box. If you don't choose a question type you'll be permanently stuck in preview mode and never see the send button.

Sorry been gone all day...yes your link work Terry. I can get there. I did choose a question from the drop down box but it still never gives me the send button just preview. I give up!

Did you put in a subject line as well as something in the body of the message? I've never tried submitting anything without something in both of those fields, but it's possible that would have the same effect as not choosing a question type.

Also, have you actually clicked on the preview button? For some reason the contact us page makes you preview the message before you can send it. Assuming you have filled in all the parts you need to, you click on preview and at the bottom of the previewed message the send button will show up.

Yup I did all of that and no send button. I even logged out and then logged back in ans tried again...no luck! But thanks for all your help anyway!

One more thing before you give up for good. there's a pulldown list of general categories (it defaults to "select from below") - did you select a category? If not, that can throw it into a permanent error loop and you won't be able to send it.

Sure did...selected general comment/question...and later I even tried reporting an error and it still wouldn't go. I wiil just leave the reporting of errors/ issues to others.

I am doing that! I never get the send button. I am stuck in preview continuously....I just finally sent a dmail directly to Terry.
