One of the Brown Thrashers....
DAILY PICS VOL. 206
Awesome shot Dave!!
Thanks. Sorry for jumping in on you like that.
I just love Dave's shots of the blue birds, they almost like angelical in some way.... my lilac is blooming too, but will never be as pretty as up North. sniff, sniff.
Elphalba, I use something called Finch Mix, which Buntings and Finches like. It will usually tell you on the bag what birds it attracts. The mix is mostly millet.
Ditto to what Lily_Love said! (Except for the part about the lilac, mine is beautiful!)
Summer sun is too hot down here for Lilac, June.
Beautiful GM!
The Chickadees are so cute Mrs Ed!
Burn, It must feel good to see the Goldfinch!
So nice to see them mrw!
Wow, Methodical, I have lens envy. Great shots.
See, Burn, Spring really does exist.
Cute li'l Chickadee Mrs Ed.
I have been going through my photos and was just above to hit the delete button on this New Holland Honeyeater from February, when I decided I quite liked how the body is blurred in the motion of a good shake but the head is in focus.
A sure sign of spring, the Geese are stating to return. This evening we watched the Geese coming in to the field next to the Palmer, Alaska airport. They spend the nights here for a short period, but disperse to feed during the day. There were a couple hundred Snow Geese among the Canada Geese. The Snow Geese do not return to this field every year.
Methodical, great shots. Love the beautiful background colors on the Mockingbird shots.
Wow, look at all what I've missed out yesterday! All great shots everyone. Frank
Spring
I agree there are some beautiful shots on this thread! Thanks for starting it Pelle with those great shots of yours!
yay Dave! Does this mean she took to the slot box.
Your BB moma is cute, Dave. Look at the tiny water droplets on her head. Your photography is outstanding!
My ordinary finches. These do become quite agressive when come to nesting season. I'll see these pair chasing others away from the feeders, that include, other finches, Titmouse, wrens, even its own kind. Very family oriented kinda birds! I hope to catch the moma with straw on her beak:
