Gulf Coast 2009 blooms

I like Plum Surprise.. I have never seen that one before... my MG are just seedlings yet! Thanks for all the photos, they are beautiful!!!

Dany do you have any seed package information? That resembles a i albivenia but maybe not as glossy in the leaf texture. If you have not got a quick answer just hold on to the picture and update as it grows.

Joseph, I've got all my vines growing in their own pots now so it will be easy to collect seeds.

Seems to be getting prettier blooms on Plum Surprise.

Helena - You can "bore" me any time with your bloom photos! Outstanding flowers! I like your LYK bloom! Very pretty! Your Plum Surprise is amazing! I need to grow that one. I'm quite sure you shared seeds with me! Time to dig through my seed stash ... :-)

A beautiful huge bloom from Lavender Chiffon! It has darker stripes on it.

LYK, I think this one is from Becky's seed. I have 2 plants.

The other vine of LYK.

No lable on this one but it might be Blue Frost or similar. The blooms seem to be tear easy.

Again gorgeous Blue Marble with consistants blooms.

Flying saucer, I think.

A Pink Surprise 2nd vine.

Hardly any blue streaks on Dai.

You have so MANY! Where do you grow them all? On trellises, fences?

I have a few growing in the ground next to the fence. Most are in I think in 1 gallon pots, a couple special ones in bigger pots. They are still small enough to be close together and not blooming in my small back yard before I have to move them so that they're not too close together.

The sizes range from about 2" on the small ones to 5" on the large ones. It's a surprise and marvel for me untill the blooms open.

Thanks Jackie, I took a better picture of Lavender Chiffons first bloom on the 2nd vine. You can see that it has stripes too. I guess I should refer to it as Lavender Chiffon blizzard!
