DH and I joked about needed dynamite to get the dang thing planted. I thought I'd dug a big enough hole and the nose was still at ground level.
Boxes of Lily Bulbs came today
Judith Freeman from the Lily Garden is a very generous person. I got my box of lilies today and it had a couple freebees in it. :) I'm too tired to list them now, but I'll try to remember to do so tomorrow...
Hi, y'know, as far as TLG, I HAVE thought about offering to help Judith out, but I don't really know her that well, and people can be very sensitive about how they run their businesses. I think one thing that has affected her this past year is dealing with Eddie McRae's death. She's been very involved in his care and probably settling up any last details afterwards. They may have divorced years ago, but I still don't think it would be easy to lose someone you used to be married to, particularly if you'd continued to have contact and are responsible for settling the estate. I think also that Catherine isn't helping as much due to her second baby.
That said, to cover all the bases, I do love my Buggy bulbs!
Today I received my second order from The Lily Garden and again there was a free bonus bulb, Orienpet lily SARABANDE. I really could very easily get used to this getting freeebie bulbs. Its an excellent way to get repeat customers and to say without words that each customers orders are very much appreciated.
It was very difficult to plant my four bulbs. The SILK ROADs just went right next too were I put those WWF bubs. I thought about pulling them up but there really was no point, paybe they will grow and I will have more lily stalks shooting up. Also planted my bonus bulb.
