X, isn't it amazing how mother nature works? Even little birds intinctively know how they love and care for their young & each other. I get to watch house finches interact in the spring at the birdfeeder and I love their every antics. How they call, spread, fluffs their feathers to coax the youngs to come to feed. They're very entertaining.
Titmouse birds I noticed almost always when it arrives at the feeder to call for its mate (seems like it to me). And cardinals travels in pair when come to feed.
Not A Good Place To Raise Children
Oh, X, I know you're going to miss them. This was wonderful to see. Thanks so much for sharing their progress with us.
Welcome .. glad everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm working on a website for family and friends. As soon as I finish it and upload, I'll post the link.
I have lots of birds visiting my yard, cardinals, blue jays, bluebirds, doves, mocking birds, and ones I don't know the names of. The hummingbirds are back in full force and so far everything is peaceful, for the moment, any day now one of the males is going to decide HE owns all the feeders and start chasing away other males .. I call it the hummingbird wars. Those guys can really get mean! This picture is from last year.
