DAILY PICS VOL. 200
Beautiful pic Mrs Ed!!
Thanks for starting the new thread!
with such a beautifull picture
200 in a series! I know where I can go when I crave for bird pictures. Thanks all.
What an incredible coloring bunting!
Speaking of Juncos, I was browsing http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/ when I came across this interesting bit of info...
"Although they look nothing alike, the White-throated Sparrow and the Dark-eyed Junco occasionally mate and produce hybrids. The resulting offspring look like grayish, dully marked White-throated Sparrows with white outer tail feathers."
Hard to imagine such a pairing, isn't it?

WOW 200! Way to go bird lovers!! Great pics too!
I just wanted to say this, the Redpolls looks somewhat like our housefinches? And the Juncos somewhat like the Eastern Phoebes? Just a thought. Love all the pictures.
Kim
Great pics all!
Love the Bunting GP!
Good one on the Rail Resin!
Burn, Love that Robin!
Aww that's a shame cb! He is a handsome fella and I hope he finds a mate very soon! Nice pic.
It looks like a Carolina Wren. They are so cute!
aaaaaaaawwwwwww
Those are great pictures! Thanks for sharing RDR. :-)
Those kids are adorable! Thanks red!
Nice one CMox!
Wonderful pic duc!! Be sure to put that is Bird Files (if you want), it's a great one!
Great pic of that quail!
Wish I had a view like that heron does for breakfast every morning.
What a gorgeous sight to wake up to!
Lily, I love your heron photo. I just had one fly by our home, but I had the camera on the wrong setting and none of the photos came out. I hate it when I do that. Oh well, at least I get to enjoy your picture.
Pelle, I'll do that, thanks.
Lily, looks like a gorgeous day there for you and the heron.
Duc, love seeing the plump quail, as always!
Nanny, great catch on the chipping sparrows. They have been chatty here today but I not coming to the feeders.
Nanny cute sparrows and that last Canada Goose is adorable. It looks like he's giving someone a piece of his mind. I heard them going by our house this morning, but they never land on our part of the lake. They're such a beautifully colored animal.
Looks like he is sticking his tongue out at someone. :-) Nice ones nanny!
