Gorgeous, Terri!!
April 2009 in the garden
LOL!! Well this nut was out early this morning taking photos... no blooms on most, just foliage... Only bloom I had was on the rhododendron and then I ran out of pixels so will have to take a snap at that one later!
Japanica.. shoot.. just sprouters! Most of mine is still under ground! Fern frons, not a one to be found. Forget me nots.. amonst the missing. Mine have slowly been dying out. The grass is taking over.
But here is my series for the day...
Japonica....sprout!
Thank you Sally! I will be sowing some nasturtiums tomorrow, they always make me think of you!
Thanks Candee, yes with all the rain the last couple of weeks then some sunshine this week everything suddenly took off!
Blossom, you have some Beauties there! can't wait to see them all flowering! I had some Heauchea, but it hasn't come up, I think it's a gonna!!
Hope to make a last dash with some pics in April, It will be good to look back on like a monthly diary of of gardens!
I don't seem to have many 'honesty' plants this year, blame it on our snow week!!!
Don't know spiderwart, looking forward to seeing that!
WOW, Blossom. What wonderful photos!!!
I have a lot of yellow flag iris, but here is the first bloom from my patch of white one. I had two patches last year, but had no idea what it was because I did not remember planting them. There were no blooms last year. Then, last fall, I finally decided to purchase a white flag iris. If I had known I already HAD some, i could have saved myself some money LoL.
Yo Blossom!!!!! LOL. everything looks so healthy, fresh and promising!!! that Hosta wouldn't last 5 minutes here! SLUGS..
Lovely yellow Geum Dianne, I must go and check if my red one is there.
Love the night time pic of the Iris.
Thanks for adding to April, if the sun comes out I'll take some pictures today.
