Great photos everyone. I bet those geese sound wonderful in the fields.
Love the yellow Flicker too Mrs.Ed.
Nanny, glad you like to photograph the Crows! Great wren too!
PNW, great owl photo. I'd love to see one like that.
Scic. your birds look quite satisfied too.
Nice catch Mrs Ed!
scic, Nice Goldfinch!
I'm no starling fan but that is a heck of a shot Mrs!!
I agree, great shots Mrs Ed. I think they're pretty with all those dots.

thank you all
goodness--another thread to participate in?
lily--did it recover and fly off after restin g?
Snowy egret.
My phoebe has arrived. Brings back memories of my first spring here. The phoebe was singing while I yanked out all the barberry here.
GW, Such great shots!!! The one with the yellow feet is a Snowy Egret. The Reddish Egrets are beautiful!
Lily, Sorry to hear that happened but I'm glad your DH was able to get him out and he's okay!
Yes, yes, thank goodness it was alright. After a brief rest it flew off. I've house finches came inside in search of places for nesting, but never seen Pheobes indoor.
good news lily
thanks pele
I was in my glory with so many subjects to choose from
this area is about 6 miles away
It's so exciting when you go to a good birding spot. Even better when it's close to home.
Nice one Patti! Crows never come into my yard for some reason.
They usually fly over my yard too. Here is the attempt. Beak is too big. DH figured he would be clever enough to open the cage, but no such luck.
Lily_love, do what I did at first, just earnestly whip your binoc up to your eyes as if you saw something and eventually you will. Time of day is everything, hook up with an early morning birding walk group and you will see birds and wacky birders at the same time. Enjoy. Patti
Nice pics Frank!
f_chisolm--great pics!
