Mourning Dove are the early one, every morning, at the feeders here too Frank, first winter to have had so many of them. Lovely shot of of the Red-bellied WP.
Rose , those are nice. I love the Cardinals, maybe because I don't see them here, but how I wish. The Brown- headed Cowbird have shown up with the Grackles and the Red-winged Blackbird last week.

Rotten gray, rainy day to match my rotten, aching tooth!!
luvgrtdanes, sorry about your aching tooth. Hope you get to feel better, great pix everyone. Here is a Cardinal for Burn_2007 since you don't get them there. I've a couple that are courting and building nest somewhere nearby the feeder, but I haven't found out the secret nest they're building. I saw the female yesterday with a straw in her beak.
Gorgeous shots everyone.
I managed to get a few shots of a White-tailed Black Cockatoo this morning. This one is a male and was waaaay up the top of a eucalyptus in our yard. There's been a flock around for the last couple of weeks. They are large birds, (21-24"), with the most lovely, slow, undulating flight. They are under constant pressure because of habitat destruction. The federal government very recently stepped in to prevent (who know for how long) the University of Western Australia from selling land it has held for close on a century, for housing. The land is one of the few remaining remnants of the Black Cockatoo's nesting ground in the metropolitan area.
Hope you feel better soon luvs!
Great pics guys!
Love the Cockatoo Margaret!
Nice pics everyone...love the Black Cockatoo's Margaret, gorgeous bird!
Love the Dirty Harry Burn...too funny! It sure is nice to see those Redpolls too!
Congrats on the BB's nesting in the cool box you built for them Frank! They sure didn't waste any time!!
Mrs. Ed...Congrats on another new bird...I just love those Fox Sparrows. They always look so big to me and are sure fun to watch them scratching around!!
