Thank you Desertpirate.

Did anyone get pics of the polliwogs in the fountain?

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

No, no,no...the rules are that you can only post *good* photos...aw, jeez, I think I just lost my leverage......

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Kanita, you with me on this? I think for a small amount of cash we can get someone to take him down.....

They're all good pictures! It's nice to see so many familiar DG faces that I've grown so fond of over the years! ;) As big as DG is now, I rarely "see" some of you anymore. :(

It looks like a great time was had by all!!

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Sally: No photo's of the pollywogs, but I did see them. Very cool.
Your sister is one very cool lady.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I so want a pond.

Eugene, OR

Thank you, BIL isn't bad either!!!LOL

Eugene, OR

So do I, but the raccoons, river birds and winter make it too hard here. But I do have a wetland pond which is neat during the winter. Can't put pretty flowers or fish in it though. Just frogs and ducks that drop in to visit.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I think I drove John crazy asking him a plethora of questions. lol
I love his accent and expressions.

Eugene, OR

So do I and I bet he was happy to answer questions. I cracked up over the plans he drew for the flower cart, very professional job. lol

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

Oh, how I wish I could have been there. It looks like so much fun and I would love to see you all again.

Sherry, I had to laugh at your comment about the outtakes. Those photos of JD are laughably bad, so I'm assuming he refused to be extorted. Everyone else looks as lovely or handsome as ever.

Kathleen and John, your home and garden look serene and sublime. The perfect setting.

Crozet, VA

Thanks for sharing.

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 10a)

How did you guys manage to stay up so late! I was pooped!

So Sherry, what are you going to do with all the Irish Cream and Chocolate you've gathered?

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

Oh, Zuzu..there are never any bad photos of JD...he's just too handsome.....
edited to add...Okay, maybe I didn't have to lead with that first photo of JD, but it was such a good one of 'spin!

Ha! I gained NOTHING! After the pics of me were posted they all just laughed and said that theirs could not possibly be worse than mine. But I've got some zingers...just wait, when it's least expected, they'll surface..

*snif*...I hadda miss the social event of the season.....shame on ya'll for having such fun with out me......Hi Blooms! Jo

Fallbrook, CA(Zone 10b)

I think you're 'Miss Society' yourself, Jo. I doubt if you're missing a lot of happenings..if there's nothing going on, I think you'd probably set something up yourself..and you know, the only chocolate in sight was the cake JD brought (which was very goooood)

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

It was truly a memorable day!

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

I am loving the pictures, all of them, Gypsy...all of them.
If you all weren't so far away......sigh.....

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

I love all the pics, even though the ones of me really aren't - it's a stand-in.

Pirate, thanks for getting one of the only pictures ever taken showing the true color of that Lady Banks rose! It is the hardest darn thing to photograph.

We're still basking in the glow here. The birds are getting pancakes this morning in penance.

We really enjoyed our first RU, met so many nice people and had one great day. Kathleen & John were great hosts, and have such a wonderful place. DH even said this was one of the best outings we can remember.

One day I won't forget! We stopped off at my sister's in Fallbrook and visted, so ended up getting home close to midnight. Today is my day to gather up all the plants I acquired and play in the dirt.

Looks like a wonderful spot for a get-together----and you all appear to have had a great time. Fun to see pix of my "virtual buds"!
